Good morning stampers, happy Tuesday!! Today i wanted to show you a Shutter Card that i made highlighting on 2 products. The Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and the Holiday Ornament Framelits! These products are sooo wonderful. Using those products i was able to make the 3D ornament that you see on the font of the card. Above is what the card looks like when it is closed... but when you open it up....First what you need to do to make that card is cut a piece of card stock measuring at 12" x 5 1/2" inches.
Next you are going to have to do some scoring. On the 12" side you want to score at 2", 4", 8", and 10" and on the 5 1/2" side you want to score at 2 1/2" and 7".
Now take your card stock and place it in your cutter going up and down. Place it at the 1 1/2" mark and cut from the top score line down to the bottom score line.
To fold your card you need to do an "in and out" fold as i like to call it. Make sure to reinforce your score lines!!!!
Your card should now look like this
Once you have that done it is time to decorate your card. The sizes of the DSP that i cut for today's card are below the diagram
