Blessed Easter

Hi-ya all! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!  Today's share is of an Easter card that i made using the Blessed Easter stamp set that you can find in the Occasions Mini right now, Blessed Easter is the name of the stamp.  I love this stamp because it is great for coloring!! And i LOVE to color!  My card base is average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is in the Pistachio Pudding card stock.  I think this color is a great green color for Easter!  My accent on the side of my card is using my Pink Pirouette 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  I lined it up in 2 strips and then clipped the ends at the bottom to make them face each other and added a bow. Voila!

To add the finishing touches to my sentiment i brushed on some Frosted White Shimmer Paint with a Sponge Dauber.  I tried to take an angled picture of it to show you how it glimmers:)  The item that i am showcasing today is the Blessed Easter stamp set.

Well that is all for today friends!! Until next time...

Picket Fence

Hello there stampers!  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and the last day of March, which unfortunetly means that today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration.  I can't believe that this year's SAB has been here and is over already, man did time fly.  But, with that being said... today being the last day means that you can still get the free items out of the brochure, but today is the LAST day! To see the entire brochure click HERE.  Visit my online store and place your order of $50 or more (before s/h and tax) and then choose your free item from the brochure (a free item for every $50).  I appreciate your business!!

Now, on to today's share.  I saw a card like this on Pinterest and fell in love, i just had to CASE it.  I believe that the card that i originally saw was from Patty Bennett.  The stamp set, Hardwood, is from the Occasions Mini and is one of my favs (like all the rest that are in that catalog, lol).  I used that stamp on some Baked Brown Sugar card stock with my Soft Suede Ink. I then cut my "posts" about 1/4" inch wide.  Once that was done, i used my Chevron Punch and made the tops of my fence posts.

My card base is average size and is in the Soft Sky card stock... why, lol well to look like the sky of course:)  I wanted to make a pot for my flowers so i used the Deco Label framelits and then cut the top of it off.  Which you don't have to, because you don't see the top anyway but i just did:)  The flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set and then i used the coordinating punch.  You can get these 2 items in a bundle, which is the cheaper way to go!!  The bundle is not in the supply list so here is the link to that so you can see all the details!!

The stamps set that i am showcasing today is going to be the Hardwood stamp

6x6 Easter Baskets Video

Happy Friday all!  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today Friday's Video.  Today's share is of a 3D Project, an Easter Basket made from a single sheet of 6x6 piece of card stock (not including the small piece you will use for your handle).  Easter is right around the corner and isn't a cute little Easter basket a great little gift to give to someone, full of candy and goodies?!?!?!? Yum!!

These little baskets are soo cute and you are able to make the main basket in multiples in a short amount of time.  I showcased these baskets as a Thank You at one of my workshops and they were a huge hit! That is how i know you can make multiple in a short amount of time.

Let's go ahead and take a look at today's video.  I can't wait!! Here we go!!!

Isn't that an adorable little basket?  In case you missed the 2 measurements of the pieces that you are going to need, here they are.  1 piece of card stock cut at 6"x6" and then scored at 2" and 4" all around and then you need your handle cut at 1 1/4" x 8". That's it!  The item that i am showcasing today is the Life In The Forest which is in the Occasion Mini right now!

Now don't forget, there is only 5 days left until Sale-A-Bration is over! You don't want to miss out on the wonderful items that you can get for FREE.... a free item for every $50 you spend in SU! product.  Click HERE to view the entire brochure!

That is all for today! Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Until next time...

Someone Special

Hi all. Quick post today on a card that i made for... well yup... someone special:)  With this card i used the Thumping technique on my flower, which is from the set Blooming with Kindness.  What is the Thumping technique you ask.  Well, it is basically taking one of you markers and thumping it on your stamp.  This is something else that i am going to try really hard to get a video out about.

The sentiment that i used today comes from the set See Ya Later, a set that you can still currently receive from the SAB catalog. But you have to hurry, SAB is only until the end of March and then all these amazing items that you can get for free will be gone!!  Not familier with SAB, no worries, click HERE to be taken directly to my on-line brochure.  The See Ya Later stamp set is also the set that i am showcasing today:)  It's super cute!!!

So yesterday i forgot to show you the weekly specials that were announced.  Oops!  This week it is all about paper!! Oh how i love paper!!!  Here are the items that are on sale this week until March 31st.  GLIMMER PAPER.... OH MY!!!!!

Well that is all for today folks.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time...

Love You SOOOO Much

Hi there all my crafting buddies!! Thank you so much for swinging by today:)

Today's share is a card that i made to tell someone just how much i loved them.  I used a technique involving Watercolor Paper, Stampin' Spritzer, Melon Mambo Re-Inker and for this project the Frosted White Shimmer Paint.  I am hoping to have a video on this technique within the next few weeks.  I used it today on the Tea Lace Paper Doiley and then for the center of my heart, which i cut out using my Heart Framelits and outlined with my Silver Glimmer Paper.

I tried to get a good picture of the heart itself to show that i actually sparkles! Oh how i love the "bling" LOL:)  You wouldn't think that it is just plain watercolor paper would you?  I wouldn't!!

I wanted this card to be very girlie and possess my two favorite colors, green and pink.  I love the way that the Melon Mambo and Pistachio Pudding look together.  This is for a very, very special person in my life who i think is forgetting how much i love them and how much their health, well being and just person in general mean to me.  I truly don't know what i would do without this person and i hope this little something will remind them that with family and friends anything is possible.

Anyway, enough with the sap, lol:) For my greeting i used 2 of the Photopolymer stamp sets, Countless Sayings 1 and Countless Sayings 2.  I LOVE the Photopolymer sets, with them being see through it makes them so easy to line up and create different sayings, like the one that i did here.  They are also the sets that i am showcasing today

So, on another note, if you noticed... throughout this post when i mentioned a product that i used i gave you a direct link to my SU! shopping cart so that you could see all of the info about that particular product.  I would like to try and start doing this so that you not only see all the info about the item(s) that i am showcasing for that day but so you can see it for all the products that i use.  Now, my question.  Do you like it better when i do it the way that i did it today, or would you like to see it better with all items in my "Supply List" at the bottom of the post having the direct links?  If you could please leave me a comment on what you think it would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks friends!!!

Well, that is all for today.  Thanks again for stopping by and until next time...

Thanks SOOOO Much

Hi-ya there all! Welcome to today's share at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!!

Today's share is a simple Thank You card using the Oh, Hello stamp set and one of my favorite designer series papers, Modern Melody.  I love the black and white from the DSP with the Melon Mambo.

I used the embossing folder Modern Mosaic.  I love that this folder also has a coordinating punch and stamps set.  Here is a closer look at the folder and the Big Shot:

Springy Easter

Hi there, welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!!

Today's share is a card that i made a few days ago while i was watching it rain/snow outside my craft room window and i was wishing and praying that soon (REALLY SOON) the sun would show it's glorious face again.  However, i wanted to throw in a little bit of a Easter theme in there as well so i used that as my greeting, lol. '

My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and uses many colors that remind me of Spring.  My base is Whisper White, my second color is Pink Pirouette and then for my Ovals i used Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette again and then Pistachio Pudding.

I wanted my vocal point to be something Springy so i chose a butterfly which i made using the Beautiful Butterfly Die.  I cut 2 out adhering the bottom one to the base and then taking the second one and putting Glue Dots in the middle and then puffed it up so of course... my card could have dimension.  I don't know why i am obsessed with Glue Dots and Dimensionals.

The item that i showcasing today is the Beautiful Butterfly Die:

Well that is all for today my friends.  I hope you enjoyed.  Until next time...

Bunny Face Card Video

Happy video day all!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!  Today Friday Video is of this adorable, oh my goodness... SUPER ADORABLE bunny face card.  It is also my first Easter card that i am posting this year.  I love this card not only because it is super cute but because it uses tons of punches and framelits!!

This card won't fit into an average size envelope so if you wanted to send it out you would have to use your Envelope Punch Board to make one that fits.

Let get on with today's video:

Wasn't that fun?  You could easily make this into a boy bunny too... and a baby bunny...you could have a whole family! LOVE IT!!  The Circle Framelits that i used are the #2 and the #4 starting from the smallest and counting to the largest.  For the Oval's i used the smallest and second smallest... so #1 and #2 from counting from the smallest to the largest.

Just a quick reminder that Sale-A-Bration is going to be ending the 31st of March, that is a week from this coming Monday.  YIKES!!!  If you're not sure what Sale-A-Bration is, click HERE to see the entire brochure of FREE items that you can receive.  Yup, i said free! With every $50 you spend on SU! projects (before s/h and tax) you will receive a free item of your choice from the brochure.

The item that i am showcasing today are the Heart Framelits.

Well that is all for today my good friends.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time

Get Well

Hi all!! Happy day to you!!!

Today's share is a card that i made for a friend that has been a bit under the weather.  I hope this will make her feel a bit better:)  I tried a new technique that I learned awhile back where you heat emboss vellum. I LOVE the way that it looks.  I am obsessed with yet another thing now, lol.  I used the Secret Garden stamp set with the coordinating dies, a set that i haven't busted out in awhile since it has been winter here for what seems like eternity, lol.

I did 2 different things to color in my flowers.  On my larger flower i heat embossed my outline in the White Embossing Powder and then i colored them, from the back side of the flower, with my Wisteria Wonder Marker.  For my smaller flower, i heat embossed them both with my Melon Mambo Embossing Powder.

My card is average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is in Early Espresso, but it is what i call a double layer card.  I call it this because my top layer, which on this card is the Soft Suede card stock and then i stamped it with my Hardwood stamp in the Brown Sugar ink, is puffed up with Dimensionals to give it a 3D look.  For my greeting i chose to use my You're Lovely stamp set (from the SAB Brochure) and then added the "Get Well Soon" from the Delightful Dozen.

The item that i am showcasing today is going to be the Secret Garden stamp set and Secret Garden Framelits.

Now real quick here are the weekly deals for this week!  Ha, there are 2 embossing powders on the list this week, great day to share my card where i used some of them huh?

That is all for today my friends! Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my share for today!  Until next time...

Swallowtail Thank You

Hi there! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!

Quick post for you today showing you a Thank You card where i used the Silver Encore Ink and the Swallowtail stamp!  I am loving the Silver Encore ink, it shimmers just ever so subtle.  It also comes in Gold (which i haven't used yet but am eager to).  I love cards that are mainly Black and White with just a pop of color somewhere, that is where my Strawberry Slush comes into play.  I used my Starburst Framelits along with the Starburst Sayings and that is the only "color" that is on my card today.

The item that i am showcasing today is the Swallowtail stamp.  It is a large stamp and you can get it either wood mount or clear mount.

Simple but Powerful

Hi there everyone.  Well, today's post... it really, truly doesn't get any simpler than this.  I mean, two items on the front and that is it and done!  You know though how i like to showcase simple cards though:)

This card base is basic size measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is using the Whisper White.  Then, for my vocal point i took an image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, stamped it a few different times and then used a saying from the You're Lovely stamp set which is available right now from SAB.  Hurry, hurry though... SAB is only until the end of March! Which believe it or not is only a couple weeks away.  You don't want to miss out on all the items that you can get for FREE!!!  Not familier with what SAB is... basically when for every $50 or more in SU! product you purchase (prior to s/h and tax) you can choose one of the SAB items that you want and you receive it for free! And it is unlimited... $50 is one item... $100 you get two items... so on and so forth!  Click HERE to see the complete SAB brochure.

The item that i am showcasing today is the You're Lovely set from SAB.  It's a set that i have been reaching for and using quite a bit lately.  I just love it and i love the saying "I Think You're Lovely".

Good Thoughts to You

Happy day there stampers.  Today's share is a quick card that i am planning on sending to a friend of ours that is going through a bit of a hard time.  Just to let them know that our family is thinking of them and that we are sending ... well "Good Thoughts" their way.

The base of my card is using the Basic Black and is average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  My middle piece is cut 1/4" smaller on all 4 sides and is the Color Tempting Turquoise.  My top piece is using the DSP Modern Melody (i LOVE this Designer Series Paper).  For my vocal piece i used a simple banner that is cut from the Banner Framelits which are in the Occasion Mini right now.  I used 2 different sizes and backed my Whisper White piece with Tempting Turquoise again to kind of tie it all together.  The stamp set that i used today is called Perfect pennants which is also available in the Mini.

Well that is all for today, thanks for stopping by and until net time...
