Creped Flower

Hi all. Welcome!!

Today's share is a card where i used the new Typeset Specialty paper. I stuck with the simple theme that i have been going with all week.  My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is using the Basic Black.  I cut my specialty paper smaller on just the two sides so that my base also served as a frame.

I used the White Creped paper to make this awesome flower! They are sooo easy to make with this wonderful paper.

The item that i am showcasing today is the Typeset Specialty paper.  I great addition to any crafters paper bag:

That's all for today my friends! Thanks for stopping by and until next time...

Too Kind Note Card

Hi there all! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'! Thanks for stopping by today:)

Today's share is of another simple... simply fabulous card.  This card is using the hostess set Bloom with Hope.  It's a great set that is awesome to use with the new Blendabilities!  You can get this awesome stamp set by placing an order, or having a party that sells at least $150 (before s/h & tax).

My project today measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  This is not a "card", this is just the front panel.  Or you could use it like it is and then place another piece of Whisper White on the back and it could become a note card.  Cute!!!  Since the card is so simple i decided to stamp the bloom of my flower twice, coloring the bottom blossom with just one all over color that was in the Cherry Cobbler Blendability pack and then on my second bloom i colored and gave it some dimension.  Cut it out and then puffed it up so that there was some cool 3D on my simple card.

Here is a closer look at the Bloom with Hope hostess set:

Well that is all for today my friends.  Until next time...

Simple... is Simply Fabulous

Hello all!  Welcome to a simple, simply fabulous card for today's share.

I love making simple cards, they can be used for so many different occasions.  You can make the base of your card, such as the one above, and leave the greeting off of it... for now.  Then, when you need a card BOOM, you go through your archives, pick a card and then place a greeting that fits your occasion.  The card that i am sharing today could be used as a birthday, sympothy, Mothers Day... so many options.

The stamp set that i used for this card is call Too Kind.  It is also the set that i am showcasing today.

Well that is all for today my friends.  Thanks for stopping by today and until next time...

New Space!!!!

HELLO stamping buddies! So, we are all officially moved in and my hubby yesterday was soooo awesome and spent the entire day yesterday getting my room just perfect for me, which it is!!!!  I spent the rest of the day today just putting the finishing touches on it and of course CRAFTING!!! It was sooo nice to have all my stuff back again!  While opening the boxes it was like Christmas.  Some stuff i forgot that i had:)  So i thought today i would take you on a little picture tour of my room.  I am hoping to do a video of my new room soon but this will have to do for now.

This is the view that you get when you enter my room from the hallway.  My room is on the main floor again.  My (again) amazing hubby allowed us to use the spare bedroom for my room so i could have my oh so important window.  I just love the drapes on the window! They are a black silky material and then i tied them back with some Blushing Bride Chevron Ribbon!

My desk is directly left of the door.  I LOVE how my little "nook" turned out.  I have everything that i use the most right at my fingertips.  Plus i love the teal wall.  You can see how it is actually teal lol. The last pictures i posted it looked more green, lol:)

To the left of my desk is the T.V. and Emma's little art corner! She has a new art desk on it's way (shhh, it's a surprise).  It's also where i keep my stamps now and my giant framed cork board.  Which at the moment has nothing to display but after today that has changed.  I think i may begin to display my projects that are waiting to be blogged... haven't really decided yet.

Now if you were standing in Emma's creative corner (that's what I am calling it) and look across the room you would see this...  The closet on the sides (those are not pictured) holds my printer and my area where i take my photos for my blog.  Hubby placed my punches in there all nice and neat.  You can see that my embellishment shelf is up and all filled up above my adorable dresser/storage thing:)

This is the shelving that you see in the left of the picture above.  The view below is what you see if you are standing in the doorway.  I love how my cube wall is coming and soon i hope to add more!  I have my little things displayed and of course i have to have my few stamps that aren't Stampin' UP! out.  Our pup Vinnie has made himself very comfy in my new room too, lol:)

Well all, that is it.  I am hoping now to begin posting daily again with a video every Friday. So make sure to keep checking back to see how my new room is inspiring me.  I have bottled up lots of ideas/projects that are just waiting to burst out of me LOL.

Until next time all...

HOME SWEET HOME!!!!

Well stampers, our wait is finally over!!! We have closed on our forever home and are all moved in.  I can't tell you what a relief it is to finally have our own home again. The month and a half being in limbo and just playing the waiting game was enough to drive a person crazy... which i am sure i reached that point at least a dozen times, but i am so very thankful that my amazing in-laws allowed us to crash their house, tried to make it as homey as they could for us and allowed me for the short time i was there to turn a portion of their basement into my craft space.

However, now i have my own room again and i couldn't be happier.  Here is a picture of our new home:

As weird as it sounds i have never felt as "at home" as i do in this house... and we have only been here for 4 days. It is as if we were meant to be here.

Now my craft space is in complete disarray.  There are boxes and stuff EVERYWHERE, so since i can't get a lot of "crafting" going on right now (which seems like it is the norm for me lately) i thought i would share with you the progress on my room until i can get busy getting stampy again lol.

So my room is located on the first floor again and has a window which looks out into our backyard which has a nice piece of land (which is our) that has some woods.  I was surprised the other day when i looked out of my window and saw these beauties just hanging out...

I was very worried that moving from the country to the city i wouldn't get to see the deer, which i became such a custom to, so i can't even tell you how excited that this mama and 2 babies have welcomed us to the neighborhood.

Anywhoo, here are some pics of my room as it sits right now...

This is the view when you are looking into my craft room from the door. The one wall that you see there was already painted this really pretty turquoise color so i just decided to leave it. It kind of looks green in the picture but it really reminds me of Tempting Turquoise when you look at it in person (it is a sign i think, lol)

To the left of the door is where my desk is going to sit.  We had the cable and Internet hooked up today.  The TV is actually sitting on my desk right now but it going to be hung above my desk in the corner and is also going to function as my computer monitor.  LOVE IT!!!

Then this is a shot from the corner of my desk.  This is where my cube wall is beginning to be built. As you can see everything is just patiently waiting to be put in it's final place.  That's half of the fun of a new room... when you reopen everything it is like Christmas :)

Well that is all for today my friends.  I can't promise a post everyday with getting the house around and such but i do promise that i will be posting updates as to how my room is coming and then hopefully soon i will be posting daily again once i am settled and can find my stuff, lol:)

Until next time...
