Cheers to You Diorama Card!!!

Why hello all!! Thanks for stopping by Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' today.  So, I know that normally I post a Friday Video but I have been sick with a scratchy throat so instead of subjecting you to my voice, I thought I would just do picture tutorial of the project that I was going to video.

This is the Diorama Card.  I love it because it is 3D and super simple to make.  Here is what it looks like when you open it:

Isn't that stinkin' cute!! Oh I just love it and like I said they are super easy to make.  Let's take a look at how to put them together.

First you need to start off with a piece of card stock measured 5 1/2" x 10 1/2". I chose to use the Strawberry Slush.  I have really been favoring this color lately.  It is my favorite and am getting all the use out of it while I can before it retires, lol:)

Next, with the 10 1/2" side on the top of your Simply Scored (or your Stampin' Trimmer), you are going to need to score at 3 1/2", 6 1/2", 7" and 10".

Once that is done make sure to reinforce all of your score lines.  Then between your 7" and your 10" score marks take your 2" circle punch and place your card stock in as far as it will go.  Center it and punch out your circle (you can really use any shape that you would like, I just chose the Circle).

Then, on the little space that you have after your 10" score mark place your Sticky Strip or Fast Fuse

Then you are going to fold your card in.  Making sure that the part with the Sticky Strip gets folded inward so that it can adhere to the other side, this is what of course makes your Diorama:)  At this point, you would find the image, or greeting, that you want inside your circle, punch it out with the 2" circle punch and then place inside the already punched circle.

Now when you stand it up it will look like this.

Pretty simple huh? I love neat looking projects that are super simple to make... but who doesn't right, lol:)  The item that I am showcasing today is the Happy Hour stamp set AND the Curly Label Punch

Don't forget before you leave to check out the Retiring List that is updated every day.

Embossed Foil Sheets

Hello stampers.  Welcome to Mrs. Linoln's Inkin'.  Today's card is using the adorable Doilies and the Silver Foil Sheets.  But the neat thing is... the Foil Sheet looks as though it is 3D. Oh I love it!!

The word that I am trying to say is escaping me but it reminds me of... melted metal or something. I just love it.  And the only thing that you need to acheive this look is VersaMark Ink, Silver Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  I just love this technique.  The item that I am showcasing today is the Silver (and Gold) Foil Paper.  Two items that are on the retiring list.

Don't forget to check out the entire list of retiring products HERE.  It is updated daily since all accessories are only while supplies last.  Also, here is a look at the new Weekly Deals that came out today...

Surprise!!!

Hi stampers!!! Welcome to today's share here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!!  Today's share is of another fun and simple card using a few different items that are on the retiring list:(

This card measures 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 5 1/2" and is in Basic Black.  I used 2 colors that are on the retiring list, Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding along with the Starburst framelits.  I love the Starburst framelits and am sad to see them go.  I used two different size framelits and then just arranged them around the base how I wanted them.  Then, for my greeting I chose Birthday Surprise and placed it on a piece of Vellum Card Stock with some Black StazOn.  And that is that.  Pretty simple huh?

So, what item am I showcasing today you ask... since I used so many retiring items.  Well, I thought today I would showcase the Birthday Surprise stamp set.

Don't forget to check out all the other items that are on the RETIRING LIST.  Accessories are sure selling quick so don't wait too long to stock up.  To allow everyone a chance to get some of your favorite items you can order your favorite items at up to 50% off.  But, items will only be available until June 2nd and it's only while supplies last (on accessories), stamps will continue to be made until May 26th due to the high demand.

Just Being Me!

Hello stampers!! Happy day to you!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was spent in my craftroom.  I was so excited to be able to have the windows open and the smell of the crisp spring air and fresh cut grass. It was an amazing time!!

Now on to today's share.  This is a super simple card using the For the Birds stamp set.  This is a set that is on the retiring list.  I must admit, I got this set forever ago and have probably only used it a handful of time.  But I just thought it was so cute!  The base of my card is average size and is in Rich Razzleberry.  I used a piece of Lullaby DSP (also on the retiring list), this pattern reminded me of bird beaks, lol.

This is the item that I am showcasing today.  The cute little birds.

Don't forget to check out the complete updated retiring list HERE.

Secret Front Pocket Money Holder Video

Hi all.. yes it is me again.  So, when I posted my card last night for today's share... I didn't even realize that today was Friday.  This week has just totally gotten away from me.  I had a few people ask me how I did the Secret Front Pocket Money Holder Card that I posted last week, you can see that post HERE.  I wanted to make sure that I posted and that I didn't go another week so you get an extra share this week:) YAY!!  So, without further ado, here is this weeks video!!

Interesting video huh? LOL, I don't know what else could have gone wrong.  So, since my doggies played a little role in today's video I thought I would show you a picture of them that I snapped yesterday...

Hahaha, crazy doggies.  Both trying to figure out how they were going to get their ball out from under the bed:) Well that is all for now my friends.  Thanks for taking a peek at my page.  Until next time...

Thankful For You!!!!

Why hello all!!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.  From now until the time of the new catalog launch I am going to try and use a product that is retiring and showcasing that item.  I don't think that will be hard seems how it seems everything is retiring.  But, I am excited to see all of the wonderful items that are going to be taking their place.

Today's card features some colors that are going to be retiring.  One of the colors is Baked Brown Sugar, which I used for the tree trunk. My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored 5 1/2" and is using the Soft Sky card stock and then is layered with a piece of Whisper White and is cut at 4" x 5 1/4". I used the stamp set Sheltering Tree and then the Work of Art set for the image that represents the rainbow.

The item that I am showcasing today is the Baked Brown Sugar.  I am going to be showing you a piece of card stock rather than the ink pad, I really wanted you to be able to see the color.

Don't forget to check out the updated Retiring List HERE.

Sending Thoughts....

Hi all!! So, have you all had a chance to take a peek at the retiring list?  I still haven't made it through the whole thing yet.  It is quite the list!!

For today's share I am using a card using the Strawberry Slush card stock (an item that is on "the list", that is just what I am going to be calling it) and then topped with a piece of Sweet Taffy DSP (also on "the list"). My card card measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and then the Sweet Taffy is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".

For the vocal piece of my card I used a piece of Whisper White framed by a piece of Basic Black.  I used an image from the Gorgeous Grunge set with some Pool Party ink (stamped off so it would be a lighter color) and then topped with a strawberry slush image.  The item that I am showcasing today is the Sweet Taffy DSP.  I am going to try and showcase an item on the "the list" from now until you can't order them anymore... :(

Don't forget to check out the updated Retiring List.  It is updated each day so that you know if an item is sold out or not.  I'll tell you right now, a lot of accessories are already sold out, so don't delay!!  To allow everyone a chance to get some of your favorite items you can order your favorite items at up to 50% off.  But, items will only be available until June 2nd and it's only while supplies last (on accessories), stamps will continue to be made until May 26th due to the high demand.

Click here to see the entire list!!

Now a few things to remember,

Pop Up Box Card

Hi friends.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's project share.  Today's share is of a pop up box that also folds flat so that you can send it through the mail.

The project that is pictured above is using the Sea Street stamp set.  I used different size punches to punch out the images from the stamp set and then accented it with 2 banner's from the Banner Punch.

I made another one too that I wanted to share with you.  This one is a bit more "girly" and goes with a garden theme.  So, you have a masculine one and a girly one:)

For this one I used the Gold Sobree Specialty Paper. I love this paper!!!  And then used the Really Good Greetings stamp set.  I wanted to show you too how it folds flat.  The item that I am going to showcase today is going to be the Sea Street stamp set that I used in the first pictured project.

Secret Front Pocket Money Holder

Hi stampers.  Welcome to another share here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'! Today's share is super cute and super fun to make.  From the front it looks as if it would be just a normal birthday card (a cute one at that I think) but then it is revealed that it is actually a....

Money holder!! OMG I love it!!! I just love the little 3" x 3" envelopes and figuring out more ways to use them than just normal envelopes.  Like I said, this is super simple to make, just adjust your layers for the front of your card the way that you want and then adhere your very top layer to the back of the flap of the envelope.

Well that is all for today folks.  Thanks for taking a minute to take a peek.  Until next time...

Frame Shaker Frame Card

Hi all.  It's another shaker card today.  They have been on the top of my making list lately it seems:)  Today is a frame card rather than a circle like I posted earlier this week.  With the frame it gives you more room for your greeting.

I used the On Film framelits and placed a greeting from the Feel Goods set.  I love the sayings from that set!! It is also the item that I am showcasing today...

For my filling I used some In-Color Sequence and placed them in on the image and then covered them with a Window Sheet.  Make sure to stock up on your In-Color Sequence since this is an item that will be retiring.  Now is the time too to order because...

Right now until April 10th there is free shipping on everything!!! There is no minimum order amount!! YAY!!!!

The paper that i used with the Banner Punch sad to say was from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and is no longer available:(

Room Divider Card

Hi there everyone!  Today's share is of the Room Divider Card.  Some call it just "Divider Card" or "Panel Card" but it totally reminds me of one of those room dividers.... so that is what I have been calling it.  When you receipient opens up their envelope they will pull out the card they will see the front panel of their card... but when they open it up....

It opens up like a.... room divider:)  These I think would be fabulous for like a mini scrapbook or picture holder.  That is going to be what I use this design for next.  I will make sure to post some pictures of that when I have it finished.  The item that I am showcasing today that I used on today's project is the stamp set Too Kind.  It's a set that I love and use to use ALWAYS, but has been feeling a little neglected lately:(

Don't forget about the free shipping that SU! is offering right now!!!  Click Here to learn more!!  But don't forget that this awesome offer is only available until April 10th!! Hurry, hurry!!!!
