Everything's Ok

Hi there everyone:)  Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!!

Today's share I used some of my left over items from the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. This kit had some really cute products in it... like always!!!:)  I chose to make this card with a few different layers but it is still only a single layer card.

I used my Layering Circles framelits from Stampin' Up! to house my cute little "puffy" coffee cup sticker.  The adorable paper is from the kit as well.  It's called Cream & Sugar and it is a 6x6 paper pad.  LOVE IT!!

Here is a closer look at the stamp set that I used today for my sentiment. It is from Inside & Out Sayings by Simon Says Stamp.  This is a great/versatile set that has everything that you would need to finish off your card with a great sentiment:

Well that is all for today friends.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time...

Going Places

Hi there stampers:)  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's share:)

Today is a little simple, cute inspirational card using the ADORABLE stamp set Going Places by Wplus9. This set is soooo cute.  You can have your choice of having some of the cute little critters either in the balloon or on the ground. I just love it!! :)

I made my scene using my Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool and some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink as well as Peacock Feathers. This is how I got my "sky" background.  Just blending them in and together with each other until I got the look that I wanted.  I then used my Stitched Snow Drifts die with some Simon Says Stamp green cardstock and that is how I got my hills.

Here is a closer look at the set that I used today:

Hello Sunshine

Hi there!  Today I have a quick share with you of this sunshine card I made using some computer paper and the I Love You More stamp set from My Favorite Things. I tried to link to this stamp but I wasn't able to find where you could purchase it if you were interested:(  I'm sure though you may be able to find it on EBay though:)

Anyway, here is a look at what the entire stamp set looks like:

Now for this card I knew that I wanted a "sunlike" background, however I didn't have a stencil or anything like the sun.  So I improvised and cut one out myself using computer paper.  I measured out the width that I wanted my "rays" (making them uneven and not perfect) and then I sponged my ink in my homemade stencil.

Now, I have to apologize that I made this card long before I knew I was going to be posting to my blog again, so once again there is no supply list:(  But I promise, the cards that will be coming or going to have a supply list.  These ones I still wanted to share with you though:)

Well with that being said I hope you enjoyed today's quick share.  Until next time...

Flower Text with Inktense

Hi stampers:) Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.  Today I am sharing a card where I used an older but goody stamp; the Flower Text stamp set from Hero Arts.  I LOVE this stamp because it is a large background stamp, but also because it looks like you did something really creative by having the words behind the flowers, when actually... it just comes that way:)

I used my Hero Arts White Embossing Powder to make sure that I had a nice thick white edge.  Then, I used my Derwent Inktense Colored Pencils to color in my flowers. These pencils are great for water coloring.. especially for beginner water coloring like what I am doing.  They blend really easy and make such a beautiful color.  I used a small paint brush for the card above:)

Simply Amazing

Hi there stampers:)  Today's card is a simple card where I used a few bright colors along with the Scenery Stripes stamp set from Winnie & Walter.

This set is great for creating your own custom backgrounds.  It has a great variety of "stripe" stamps that make is so quick and easy.  I used a variety of bright colored inks (forgive me, I didn't write down which ones I used because i was SURE I would remember.... HA!!)  My cards today measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and then scored at 4 1/4", making it a normal side folding card.  For my Neenah 80lb piece I cut that just slightly smaller on each of the sides so that my black piece would show just a bit more on the sides.  I think for a simple card like this it really makes it pop.  To finish, I took some clear sequence and adhered them on with my Ranger Multi-Mat adhesive.  This is a great strong adhesive perfect for sequence.

Here is a closer look at the stamp set that I used today:

Well that is for all stampers!  And never fear, I have been writing my products down that I use so I will be able to provide a supply list.  Some of these cards I made prior to getting my blog up and running again.  Until next time all...

Birthday Flyby

Hi there stampers:)  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.  Today I am sharing this super cute dragon birthday card that I am just absolutely obsessed with.  This is a My Favorite Things stamp set called Magical Dragons, and let me tell you... they don't come much cuter than this.  This set has a coordinating die set that I really think is worth getting.

The background that I chose to do is using some Distress Inks and my Distress water sprayer to create those water drops that you see. I have been loving playing with my distress inks again lately, they are just so much fun!!

The balloons that I used are from a Stampin' Up! stamp set called Balloon Celebration which has a coordinating balloon punch that you can get as well.  However you can easley cut these balloons out and be just fine:)  I colored my dragon and my balloons with some simple copic coloring using only a couple colors for each.

Here is a closer look at the Magical Dragon stamp set (too cute!!!!)

Well folks that is all for the share today:)  I really hope that you enjoyed today and until next time...
