Twizzler Holder Video

Hi there everyone.  Welcome to an extra weekend post here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!! I wanted to make sure that i got my video posted today since i wasn't able to yesterday for some reason.  Thank you soooo much for baring with me!!!!  

Last week i posted this cute Twizzler Holder.  You can see that entire post HERE.  I wasn't able to post yesterday so you get it today. YAY!!!  Let's go ahead and take a look.

Pretty simple and oh so neat!  After the video, which as you can tell was supposed to be posted a few weeks ago before Valentines Day... so you can see how extremely behind i am, i added Dazzling Diamonds to the bee's wings with my 2 Way Glue Pen.  But again, i am working to catch up.  The stamp that i used in the video today I used for the cute little Bee, but it also comes with other lovey dovey tamps.  It's called Crazy, Mixed Up Love.  Here is a closer look at the entire stamp

Happy Petal Parade

Hi-ho stampers!  Happy Friday! So today is a little different than our regular Friday.  I am having some issues with getting my video to load tonight (I know, it is always something right?)  I didn't want to not post since i went a few weeks without posting so i thought i would post this simple Hello card.  Don't worry though, this week you will get an extra post with the video that i planned on posting today.  So bare with me and we will get this all caught up I PROMISE!!!  

Things have been so crazy around here that half the time i can't tell if i am coming or going, lol:) About 2 1/2 weeks ago my hubby and I made the hard, however necessary decision to place our first home on the market.  When we first purchased our home we loved the fact that it had lots of acreage and a TON of landscaping.  However, now that we have our little one she keeps us quite busy and our once beautiful yard isn't getting all the attention it deserves.  So, we decided it was time to move on and move back to our hometown (which is only 12 miles away HAHA). Therefore, we have been super busy getting it all ready to go on the market.  What a workout, lol:)  Anywhoo, there is a bit of a rundown on what has been going here at the Lincoln's.  We have our first showing this Saturday so fingers crossed that all goes well!!!

So, now that i have blabbed on about all that:)  Let's get to today's share.  Like i said, this is a simple Hello card, or that is what i would use it for, using the stamp set Petal Parade.  You can receive this stamp set for FREE with a purchase of $50 or more right now during Sale-A-Bration.  Here is a closer look at the set that i used today:

You're Peachy

Hello friends.  Quick post today showcasing the Peachy Keen stamp set as well as other items that are available right now in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Lately i have been making cards where i mainly use items only from the new Mini. Not really meaning too, but all of the items in the Mini are amazing and i just find myself reaching for those things.

The card stock that i used for my base was the Raspberry Ripple, i think it is just such a pretty color!  Then, i used the Whisper White and the Starburt Framelits, ran those through my Big Shot and my Chevron Embossing folder to give them some texture.  The vocal point of my card is the frame that comes from the On Film framelits which is using the So Saffron.

Don't you just love it? With my being a scrapbooker i just LOVE this set with the little camera.  There is an On Film framelit set too.  It doesn't coordinate with this set really but i thought i would give you a closer look anyway!!! Plus it's what i used to get the "film" strip piece that i used for my vocal piece.  I LOVE the old photo framelit!!

Another Great Year

Hello there friends.  Welcome!!

Today's share is of a simple Birthday card using the stamp set Another Great Year.  This is a set that is available right now in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  My card measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and is using the Whisper White as my base.  I wanted my card to be simple but a little fun so i took 2 strips of measuring 1/2" x 5 1/2" using the Fresh Prints DSP which is also available in the Mini Catalog.  My image is using the Coastal Cabana color, which matches the DSP color perfectly!! That is one of the great things about SU! is that all of the colors coordinate with each other. It's great!!!!

To add just a little bit of other color i used the Essentials Wooden Elements and then my Melon Mambo Marker and colored it in.  The Essentials Wooden Elements... yup, you guessed it, are available in the Mini Catalog as well.  Today is all about the Mini i guess!!! The item that i am showcasing to you today is the stamp set Another Great Birthday.

Twizzler Holder

Banner Sun

Hi everyone! Welcome to Mrs. Lincolns Inkin'!!!

Today's share is a card that i made using one of my favorite techniques for the background, the Star(sun)burst technique.  I did a video on this technique awhile ago.  To check that out click HERE.  The designer series paper that i used is called Afternoon Picnic and Gingham Garden.  

The vocal point of my card is my sun which i made with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and the Banner Punch which you can get right now from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Here is a closer look at the punch:

My card base measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  I used Soft Sky for my base color, reminds me of a nice blue sky... something that i have almost forgotten what it looks like here in the mitten state. Diaper Fold Video

Happy video day all.  Today's video is of the simple Diaper Fold.  This is such a cute, cute, cute fold for a baby shower invite and table gift.  You could fill it with little candies, game sheets, whatever your heart desired.  Today's share is of a larger one, which i would use on my table and then one that i made for my invite.

These can be made in any size really, as long as the paper is square.. meaning it is the same on all 4 sides.  Which i talk about more in today's video.

Birthday Diorama Box

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking a moment to visit my little spot on the web!!!

Today's post is of a Diorama Box that i saw on an old post that Dawn Griffith posted way back in 2008.  I am going to try and get a video of this awesome project done!!

The four colors of card stock that i used for today's share were Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Wild Wasabi, and Wisteria Wonder.  I did a tone-on-tone with the Wild Wasabi and the Betsy's Blossom stamp set.  The stamp with the Wild Wasabi made me think of a tree so i added the Bird Punch.  The stamp set that i am showcasing today is the Betsy's Blossom stamp set:

Thank You with Tulip Frame

Hi everyone! Welcome!

Quick post for your today sharing a Thank You card that i made using the Tulip embossing folder as well as the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set. I LOVE this set! All of the photopolymer sets are amazing! I love that you can see right where you are placing them so you will never have another uneven image again... unless that is the look you are going for of course:)  Click HERE to see all of the SU! To add some more decoration i added the Pansy Punch in the Wisteria Wonder.  I doubled punched this and then popped the top flower up with a dimensional.  My card base measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and i used the Blushing Bride card stock.  My Whisper White is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".

You're Peachy

Today's share is of a Peachy little card using the Starburst Framelits and the Peachy Keen stamp set both from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  My card base measures average size, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is in the Crumb Cake card stock.  I then cut out my larger framelit in the Whisper White and then puffed that up on some dimensioals to give it some... well dimension, lol.  Then i took a framelit that was 2 sizes smaller and cut it out in in the Raspberry Ripple.  I stamped my greeting in the White Staz On ink.  This was actually the first time that i used the White Staz On ink.  It is a lot different than the White Craft Ink.

To finish off the card i used the Raspberry Ripple Ribbon and then added some simple Jewels.  Here is a look at the entire Peachy Keen stamp set:

Watercolor Happy

Hi all!!! Did you think that i disappeared? I know it has been awhile since i have posted and i know that i am 2 weeks behind on my Friday Videos and for that i am very sorry. I would like to thank you to those that sent a concerned email because they were missing my posts/videos. I can't tell you how happy that made me feel.  I am fine, the family is fine, with the exception of my two year old having a really bad cold. It has been really busy around the Lincoln household the last few weeks, but i won't bore you with all the details.  Lets get to today's share.

Today's card is another simple card, as you can tell from my past posts i have been really into the sweet and simple cards lately. This one is using one of my new favorite stamps sets Happy Watercolor.  It is available right now in the Occasion Mini Catalog.  I used the floral stamp and backed it with the "swatch" stamp (at least that is what i call it, lol) using Strawberry Slush ink. I started at the bottom and then just stamped again in the middle and then again on the very top, giving me 3 different shades. I never re-inked my stamp prior to stamping, i love the look of the faded image.  Then for my greeting, just a simple "You Make Me Happy" in the upper corner in Gumball Green. This greeting is from the same stamp set. Here is a closer look at the entire set that i used today:

Watercolor Thank You

Hi everyone. Quick post today of my February Thank You notes that i made using the new Happy Watercolor stamp set that is available right now in the Occasion's Mini right now.  These card, like always, are measured at 3" x 6" and then scored in half at 3".  This card is really as simple as it looks. I used the flower in StazOn ink on all of the cards and then took the paint swatch stamp (I call it that because i really think that is what it looks like, lol) and then used the In-Colors (with the exception of Wisteria Wonder) and stamped them onto the pedal part of the flower.  That's it!!

Foil Valentine

Hi all! Welcome!!!

Today's share is of yet another Valentines card. This one is a simple one that uses the Countless Sayings 1 stamp set as well as the Chevron Boarder punch.  I only used the boarder punch once, in the middle of the bottom.  My card today has 3 layers, a Basic Black layer which measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2, a middle layer in the Real Red measured at 4" x 5 1/4" and then a top layer of Whisper White cut at 3 3/4" x 5".  I love how the Real Red layer shows through the Chevron Boarder punch on the Whisper White.

I added some of the Silver Foil Paper (which i am in LOVE with right now) which i punched out with the Mini Heart punch.  The foil paper is the product that i am going to be showcasing today.  It comes in Silver and in Gold. (the pictures below look like they are the same, but one is actually for the Gold and one is for the Silver)

 

So SU! came out with their new Photopolymer stamp set today, it's amazing like always:

Finding Someone

Hi there all my craftin' buddies!! Welcome to today's share at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'.

Today's card is a card that i would use for a wedding.  I wanted it to be elegant and on the girlie side. After all, most wedding cars are aren't they, lol:)  My card measures size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then used a piece of Blushing Bride card stock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" so that my Whisper White base would also serve as a boarder.  Then, atop that goes another piece of Whisper White cut at 3 3/4" x 5".  On this top layer i took my Soft Suede ink and my En Francais stamp. I love this background stamp!!!  This is also the stamp that i am showcasing today.  This stamp has been with SU! for quite awhile and just keeps getting better with age in my opinion:)

To finish my card i used the sentiment from the See Ya Later stamp set which is a Sale-a-Bration set right now that you can receive for free if you place an order of $50 or more (before s/h and tax).  Here is a closer look at this set as well (it's a double showcase day i guess haha)
