Hey There!!!!

Hello stampers!!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!!

Today's share is a card that uses all Sneak Peek's.  Well all but the colors of the things are Sneak Peeks.  Oh my goodness i am going crazy using all the new products from the Occasions Mini that is going to be available January 3rd. OH MY I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

My card base measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" an i used the Pool Party card stock for my sky.  My grass i used the Pistachio Pudding card stock and the new Fringe Scissors!! I have been waiting for SU! to come out with a pair of these for so long!!! I'm so excited they are finally here!  The cute little fox comes from the new stamp set Life in the Forest.  I cut him out with my Paper Snips, as I did with the trees (from the same set) and then popped them up on Dimensionals to give it a 3D look!  Then, the sentiment is from the new set Just Sayin' and then i cut it out with my Big Shot and the coordinating framelits Word Bubble.

Well all, there is no showcased product today, since they are all Sneak Peek's and i can't show the whole set of anything yet... so you will just have to wait a few more days, lol:)  I know... it's hard but the wait is almost over.

So, with that being said... until next time friends...

Hello stampers.

Did you all have a nice Christmas?  We sure did.  Santa visited our house and sure did spoil our little girl.  My parents came over to our house for Christmas dinner, because they still don't have power.  We all had a very nice time.  Here are a few pictures that i wanted to share with you.

Me and My AMAZING hubby Nick who played Santa for us Christmas morning.
Me and my princess.  She was sooo excited for all her presents.
Our living room was a disaster after all the gifts were opened... but it was SOOO worth it, lol:)
My little one and my mom playing with one of Emma's new gifts
Nick, Emma, Myself and our puppy Vinnie all settling down watching a Christmas movie recooping from the day!

Ok, well now let's get back to today's project and Friday Video.  I posted a stationary/card holder on Tuesday and wanted to show you how i made it.

Don't you just love this little holder?  The Envelope Punch board is awesome!!! There are so many things that you can do with it, it isn't just to make envelopes!!!  Here is a closer look a the item:

Stationary/Card Holder

Hello stampers!! Welcome!!!

Today's share is a peek at what this Weeks Friday Video is going to be of.  These adorable stationary/card holders that i made using the Envelope Punch Board!!!  I first thought this would be a great idea for anyone that likes to write notes, like me, they could have their little note holder hanging right where they would need it most.  By the refridgerator, the phone... the craft room, lol.  Anywhere they wanted to hang it.

This holder would hold a average size card of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" or, if you wanted it for a stationary holder, if you were to quarter your 8 1/2" x 11" piece of computer paper, if would hold them just perfect.  But i will explain all that on Friday in the video.  The card that i displayed in the above picture is a card that i have already posted.  To see the entire post on that car click HERE.

This post also has many Sneak Peeks of products that are coming out January 3rd in the new Occasions Mini Catalog.

Well that's it for today friends.  Make sure to check back on Friday for a video tutorial on how to make today's share.  Until next time...

Last Minute Christmas Card

Hello all.  Ok, so i couldn't go without posting another Christmas card.  This is a last minute card that i made, using awesome products from the Holiday Catalog and a Sneak Peek of a new embossing folder named Decorative Dots that is going to be available in the new Occasions Mini beginning January 3rd.

The framelits that i used for this amazing snowflake are the Festive Flurry Framelits (available in the Holiday Mini).  I love these framelits.  They really make a great snowflake. I used 3 different to create my snowflake, Midnight Muse for the largest layer, Silver Glimmer Paper for the middle layer and then a piece of Winter Frost DSP.  To finish it off, i placed a Frosted Finishes embellishment in the center, to give it even more "bling".

My card measures average size of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2".  I wanted there to be layering as well so my card base (which is what measures average size) is in the Midnight Muse, my middle layer (Whisper White) is cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and then my smallest layer (Marina Mist) measures 3 3/4" x 5".  This, as you can see, is also the layer that i ran through my Big Shot with the new embossing folder.  The sentiment that i used on today's card is from the set Best of Snow... and says "Let It Snow".  This is exactly how i am feeling today to.  Here in the mitten state we have had nothing but freezing rain and snow.  Our household was without power for almost a full 24 hours.  The hubby and i ended up getting a generator... and right after we got it hooked up and the few things that we needed running... yup... the power turned back on. Thank you God!!!  There are still thousands without power though throughout the state (including my parents and in-laws) and we are hoping that it gets restored soon.  We didn't have any damage to our home, we lost a few trees including my little baby tree that was right outside my craft room window.

The little tree that you see to the right in the above picture is the tree that i lost ;(  It snapped right in half
As did one of our old, huge pines ;(

The product that i am featuring today is the Festive Flurry framelits.  There is still time, don't miss out, order yours today:)

Well folks, that is all for today.  Hope you have a very splendid day and until next time...

Updated Craft Room Video

Hello stampers.  Today i thought i would share with you an updated video of my crafting space.  The very first video that i did was of my crafting space and of course... it has changed numerous times.  So, i thought that I would do an updated one for today.  If you would like to view my very first video ever, click HERE.

Well, on to today's video:)

My room isnt 100% on how i want it but with a little paint and time, it will be.  I love though that Emma has her own little special space in my room.  I LOVE crafting with her and love that she loves to be in there.

Now, i try and keep track of the changes that i do with my room.  At the top of my page you will see a tab that says "My Craft Space", if you click on that you will see pictures of how my room has been each and every time, lol.  I haven't gotten any recent pictures on there from my video, but i will soon:)

Well, that is it for today.  Hope you enjoyed the look into my room and maybe found something that would be useful in your space.  Until next time...

Side Double Fold Christmas Card

Howdy stampers, welcome!!!

Today's share is Christmas card that almost slipped though the cracks and didn't get posted.  When I found it I was baffled that I had forgotten it:(  So, it is now today's share.  This card is a fun fold where the top flap is folded back one more time to make it so that it opens a bit differently.  The card itself measures average size of 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" and then scored at 4 1/4", then, like I said, you take the top flap and score it in half, making it what I call a Sided Double Fold.  On the front I added a flap which as you can see is where I added my stamping and my greeting.  I used the Lovely As A Tree stamp set and the Special Season stamp set for my sentiment.  The trees are stamped on the Marina Mist card stock and then I placed a piece of normal Vellum over it to give it a frosted look, but stamped my sentiment with my StazOn ink right on the top of the Vellum so that it would be bold and "pop".

When you open the card there is another image of my trees stamped on a piece of Whisper White.  You can't see the inside image from the front because the flap is covering it (that is the purpose of it, lol).

This is a shot from the side... so you can see how it looks with the flap.  To add my finishing touches, I added some bling with the Frosted Finishes embellishment.  I LOVE THESE!!! Don't forget, there is still time to order from the Holiday Mini. Don't wait... order HERE

Until next time...

Floating 3D Owl Card

Hello stampers.  Today is a 3D card that has a few sneak peeks form the Occasions Mini that is going to be available to order from beginning January 3rd.  I did a card like this, with the owls on the branch awhile ago and thought it was time to redo it and then share it with all of you!!

The card measures average size of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  The window in the center of my card has a boarder around it that measures 3/4" all around.  My branch measures 1" wide and then I took my paper snips and just kind of made a few wave cuts to make it look more like a branch.  Then, with my Woodgraine set I stamped my Early Espresso card stock with my Early Espresso ink to give it more of a tree look.

For the top part of my tree I used my 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch in the Wild Wasabi card stock then outlined the top of my card so they would resemble leaves.  The picture above shows how the owls are actually kind of "floating".  The are stabilized by the branch and then floating on the top!

After I got done assembling the entire front of the card I decided that I wanted the card to actually be closed so that I didn't have to put my greeting on the inside of the card and have it show through my window.  So, I closed the entire card with dimensionals and then placed my greeting on the back.  The stamp set that I used is called Another Great Year, and it is a sneak peek for today.  The whole entire set is fabulous!!!

Since I can't show you the whole set that I used (I'm making a sad face right now) the item I am showcasing today is the Owl Punch:

Well that is all for today's post friends.  Until next time...

Tag it Christmas

Hey there stampers!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!!

Today's share is of another Christmas card.  It has been sharing all my Christmas creations with you this holiday season.  I love sharing all of my creations with you.  Scrapbooking and stamping are my favorite things to do when I have any free time.  My daughter has really been getting into crafting too.  I thought I would share a picture with you of her crafting with me the other day...

I LOVE crafting with my Little (that is what I call her).  She is so creative, and I am really not just saying that.  She always says "color is Momma's room with my Momma?" Oh my, it just melts my heart.  How can you say no to that.

Anyhoo, LOL, back on track and on to today's project!!!  Today's share is a pretty simple project with a card measuring average size of 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored at 5 1/2".  I wanted to make a kind of Faux 3D frame... it didn't turn out quite how I had planned but I went with it because I thought it still looked good, haha:)  For the center of my card I used the Tag it stamp set with the matching Chalk Talk Framelits.  Those are the 2 items that I am going to be showcasing today.  Here is a closer look:

That is all for today friends.  I hope you come to visit again soon.  Until next time...

Team Sketch #6 with Sneak Peeks

Hello all my stamping friends.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincolns Inkin'!!

Today's share is a few things.  First, it is another one of my team sketches.  I hadn't designed a sketch in a bit, so decided it was time for one.  This is the 6th sketch that I have designed for my stamping group (put together by my up-line).  Here is the sketch that I designed:

Now, another thing that this card has is some Sneak Peeks of items from the new Occasions Mini that is going to be out this January.  OMG, I know before I said that this catalog was amazing, but now that I have actually been able to play with the new items I can honestly, 100% say it is SUPER AMAZING!!! I have had to pry myself away from my craft room.  Now, like all the rest of the Sneak Peeks that I have done in the past, I can't give you all the details on the new items, all I can do is show you them in use.  So let me point out a few things that are new that I used on this project.  For one, the background stamp is new, secondly... the embossing folder that I used on my banners is new as well as the sentiment and the piece made out of pumpkin pie which is the bottom layer under my sentiment.

Well that is all for now.  Until next time...

Tea Light Holder Video

Hello friends.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincolns Inkin' and today's Friday Video!!!  Today's share is something that I am super excited about.  I saw this projects on another site (which I mentioned in my video) but wanted to change it up a bit because, me personally, didn't like the way that it closed.  It was too complicated for me, haha.  So, I simplified it for me.  I was excited to see a project like this, everyone in my family are BIG candle users, so I thought it was great that I could now give them as little gifts in a creative little box.

I love the little peek-a-boo window at the top, allowing the recipient to get a glimpse of what is inside!!!  Let's not delay any longer, lets get right into today's video:)

OMGodness, isn't that just way too stinkin' cute for it's own good?  Oh I just LOVE it!! But then again I love anything that has to do with stamping and paper crafts... which I am sure, if you follow my blog, you know by now:)

This little tea light holder holds 4 normal size tea lights, as you can see above.  The fit in there perfectly.  The product today that i am showcasing is the Simply Scored.  This is such an amazing tool, it can be used for almost everything.  Now, i know you might be thinking "well my SU! trimmer has a scoring blade that comes with it.  Why would I need this too?"  The Simply Scored allows you to lay your paper down flat, not having to move it to the different measurements and score all at once, that is why I love it so much.  Plus, you can also purchase the Diagonal Plate that is an addition to the Simply Scored.  This lets you make diagonal score marks with ease and grace!!!

Well I hope you all enjoyed today's video! Until next time...

Let It Snow with Northern Flurry Embossing Folder

Hello stammers!!

Today's share is another quick one of a card that I made with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder again.  This folder has been around with SU! for quite awhile, however it is a newer item to my collection of goodies so I have been reaching for it a lot lately.

The base of my card is average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2 and I used the Midnight Muse.  I layered a piece of Whisper White atop of that, measuring 4" x 5 1/4".  This is the piece that placed in my embossing folder and ran through my Big Shot.  Once that was done, I used a Sponge Dauber and some Coastal Cabana ink and really made the "impressions" of the snowflakes pop!  I used my Best of Snow stamp set, heat embossed my greeting with the White Embossing Powder and heat tool and then punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch.  Tied a piece of Pool Party Seam Binding ribbon around the top layer of my card and there you have it. Pretty simple huh?

The product that I am showcasing today is the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  Here is a closer look at it:
