Friendly Wishes Sneak Peek

Hi everyone!! How are we doing today?  I hope your day is going well.  Today is a sneak peek of a new stamp set that is going to be in the new annual catalog, it's called Friendly Wishes. It's a GREAT set.  Once you see the whole thing you are going to love it!!

My card today measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" and is using the Baked Brown Sugar card stock.  Make sure you get your hands on this if you are in love with this color, it's on the retirement list and is only available while supplies last.  I then used a piece of Cucumber Crush (a new In-Color) and ran it through the Big Shot with the Boho Chic embossing folder (another sneak peek).  This color pattern isn't one that I would normally go for but, i had some left over pieces, the small triangles, from using the new Triple Banner Punch and then a piece of Bermuda Bay and Basic Black.... I really like the way it turned out actually.

The item that I am showcasing today is the Circle Framelits and the Big Shot:

Thank You For Your Service!!

Hello everyone.  Happy Memorial Day.  Today is a quick post of a simple card that I made to thank all the men and women who have lost their lives, serving our Country and to all of the families that they have left behind.  My family truly thanks you!!!

I used the Work of Art stamp set along with the colors Real Red and Night of Navy that I wanted to represent the flag. This is a super simple, I mean really simple but I love that about this card.  I love that something as strong as the message of "Thank You" for a day like today didn't need a lot going on.

Here is a closer look at the stamp set:

Too Much Happy

Hello stampers.  Today I know is Friday but I don't have a Friday Video for you.  Between work and a growing toddler I am finding it hard these days to find any spare time to shoot a video. But, I am still able to get into my room every so often and whip up some creations.  Hopefully in the future, fingers crossed sooner than later, I will be able to get back into a video every Friday. I have been thinking about about trying to do videos where I don't talk, just show you on how to make the project... however with that I have to learn how to use an editing program. I am not too computer savy so I will have to find someone to teach me.

Anyway, on to today's simple share.  Which, now I think is the perfect time to announce that I am going to be doing something new with my post.  I haven't picked a day of the week yet, I don't even know if I am going to do on a specific day of the week, anyway, I am starting a new share called Sara's Simple Share's.  With this I will be posting cards that are super simple to make, where you can make a large amount in a short amount of time.  I am excited about it.  So, today is the first of Sara's Simple Share's.  (Man, I am just a blabber mouth today... we haven't even gotten to the card, lol).

Today is a card that measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" and is using Whisper White.  I took the two paper colors Rose Red and Wistera Wonder and made banners. I know you can't really tell but the banners are made with a new punch that is called 3 Tier Punch. It is a punch that allows you to make perfect banners in 3 different sizes, perfect for layering.  I then used the Bitty Butterfly punch and the Basic Black card stock and added then to the colors, just to break them up a little. Then of course, some bling on the ends:)

The greeting comes from the stamp set Yippie Skippie. LOVE this set, but it is the item that I am showcasing today because it is retiring.

Everything is Ok!!!

Hi all.  Super quick post for you today. I wanted to share this card with you where I used the Butterfly Thinlits. I did not run my thinlits all the way through my Big Shot though, I stopped at the center so that my butterfly is still attached to the Back to Black DSP.  I then backed it with the Dazzling Details paper (I LOVE THE BLING).

Well that is all.  Like I said super quick post, lol.  Until next time...

Pop-Up Inside Book Card Video

Hello all my crafty friends.  Thank you for swinging by today for today's Friday Video.  Today's video is of the Mother's Day card that I posted earlier this week.  You can see that entire post HERE.  This one that I made is a graduation card.  I thought that the inside just fit perfect with graduation since it is a Pop-Up Book card, lol.  But then I realized that it really didn't have a place to put money in. So of course I made a place.  I went for my handy-dandy little envelopes and created a pouch on the front,

This card has more of a simple, masculine theme. I wanted the front to be very simple since there was the wow factor on the inside.  So, in case you haven't headed over to the other post yet, let's take a look at the inside project that we are making today:

Pretty nifty huh?  Let's not waste anymore time! Roll tape!!!!

on't you just LOVE the sneak peek of the new In-Colors? Oh my goodness!!! I love them all!!!  The item that I am showcasing for you today is the Blue Ribbon stamp set.  It is a set that is not going to be around for much longer.

Postage Due!!!

Hi stampers!!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!

Today's share is a card that I made using the Postage Due stamp set with the Silver Encore ink. These things are both on the retiring list.  I used the Basic Black card stock for my base.  I cut it at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and then scored at 4 1/2". This is the same size as an average size card it just open different (long ways instead of up and down short ways, if that makes any sense at all).

The item that I am showcasing today is going to be the Postage Due set:

3D Butterfly

Hello all.  Thank you so much for stopping by Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' to check out today's card share.  Today's share is of this awesome and simple 3D card using the large Swallowtail background stamp.  This stamp is NOT on the retiring list and I am super excited, lol:)  I really wanted this card to POP and have the butterfly be the vocal piece more of just being on the paper.  Therefore, I stamped once on my Whisper White and then on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut that out.  I puffed the second image up on the paper so that the wing would stick up! Love how it turned out!!

I wanted to still bring some Summer color into the card being that it is basically a black and white card so i grabbed my ever-so-loved Strawberry Slush and used the card stock to back my butterfly.  I also used it to ink my greeting from the Really Good Greeting stamp set, which is sad to say is on the retiring list.  It is the item that I am showcasing today.

This set has some great greetings.  But, there are tons of awesome new sets in the new catalog that I just can't wait to show you.  Since the awesome man in the brown truck made a visit to my house (UPS man, lol) I have been busy using the new products that us as demonstrators got to pre-order.  So I will have some sneak peek's coming for you real soon!!

Don't forget that today the new Weekly Deals came out! I love Tuesday's!!!:)

Fun Fold Perfect Blend

Hello friends.  Quick share with you today using the stamp set Perfect Blend.  This is one of the stamps sets that when it first came out I just couldn't get enough of! I think it is absolutely adorable.  This card measures average size of 4 1/4" and 5 1/2" but there is a bit more to it than meets the eye...

It is a fun fold card.  I love fun fold cards!!! This card I happened to turn into a gift card holder, you all know how obsessed I am with those.  It is really simple to make... all you do is make an average size base card and then cut the inside piece so that it will fit and fold over.  Then, if you want to make it a gift card holder then you just cut a strip and stick it down on the bottom and 2 sides.  Pretty simple:)

The item that I am showcasing is the Perfect Blend stamp set.

Happy Mothers Day

Hello everyone and Happy Mothers Day to all you mommies out there!!! I hope you all had a wonderful day.  The card that I am sharing today is the card that I made for my amazing mommy.

I just thought that is card was so cute... when you open it up it looks like a book.  When I first saw this card I instentaley thought of my mom.  When I was little that is all I saw my mom do (when she wasn't tending to me of course) was reading a book.  She was a regular ol' bookworm, lol. The colors that I used are Perfect Plum card stock for the outside and then the inside is Pink Pirouette.  I am hoping to have a video tutorial on this card within the next couple of weeks.

Now, on to some exciting news.... the wonderful man in the big brown truck (UPS) made a delivery to me last week... yup I got all my items that I was able to pre-order.  And, a hard copy of the new catalog is finally in my hands!!!!

The catalog is just wonderful.  Here is a sneak peek at the new In-Colors

Well that is all for today friends.  Now on to some more snuggle time with my little!!!!  Until next time...

Dry Embossed on Vellum Card Stock

Hi there stampers.  Quick post today using the I Like You Hostess set.  But, the technique that I want to show you today is the dry embossing on the Vellum Card Stock.  There is no Big Shot involved... just a stamp and a Stylus.

First you take your Vellum Card Stock and stamp your image with some StazOn.  Then take your card stock and flip it over and rub your stylus on the backside of your card stock within the lines of your image.  This will cause your Vellum Card Stock to turn white.  When you are all done you will have a beautiful white embossed image.

Pretty nifty.  The item that I am showcasing today is the stamp set I Like You, a Hostess set that is retiring.

So, speaking of the retiring list... today demonstrators were able to pre-order from the new annual catalog that is going ot be released June 2... oh my goodness, let me just say that all of the items in the new catalog are AMAZING!!!!!  I can't share the items in the new catalog with you yet (i know it stinks) but I can share with you a peek at the new In-Colors:

You can check out the entire Retire List to see if some of you favorite items that are not going to be available is still available now:)

Happy Bunches!!!

Hello everyone.  Thanks for taking a minute and swinging by my blog today:)  Today's card is a card that I used one of my favorite DSP's, Back to Black.  I love black DSP because you can use it with any color card stock, it always looks great and you can use it for so many moods.

Today I used Pool Party for the base of my card and it is measured at average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  The Back to Black is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".  I wanted to break up the pieces a bit so I chose to use a piece of Pink Pirouette and placed it to the left of my piece.  My greeting comes from the Yippie Skippie set (what a great set) and then I placed a Hello Honey inked Blossom Punch using the Mixed Bunch stamp set (both of which are on the retiring list).

Then to finish it off i used my Dazzling Details and placed them in the center of my flower.  Have to have some bling somewhere on the card:)  The item that I am showcasing today is the Back to Black DSP.  Make sure to check the entire Retiring List of products to see if this accessory is still available.  Stamps are continuing to be made because there is such high demand, however accessories are only while supplies last.
