Folded Flap Gift Card Holder Video

Hello everyone.  Welcome to today's Friday Video here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!  I am so glad you were able to peek in today:)

Today's share is of a gift card holder (you all know how much I LOVE gift card holders!!). This is using a fold that I shared with you a little bit ago, when I posted the Pop Up Z-Fold Card.

I think that gift card holders are so fun to make.  You can use them for anything.  I love having a stack of them all done and ready to go.

Now in the video I showed you another card that I made where I used the In This Together stamp set.  This is a set that is on the Retiring List so make sure you snatch it up before it is too late:)

Thanks so much for joining me today friends.

Starburst Background

Hey there all!  Quick share for you today of this card that I made using the Flower Fair Thinlits.  I chose one of the flower shapes that I thought would be fun as a starburst background.

My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and is in the Bermuda Bay card stock.  I chose this color because it is also the color that I used for my starbursts and wanted it to all tie in together.

I wanted my greeting to by my main vocal point so I chose to stamp it on a piece of Whisper White and then just leave it as is.  I colored in the word "Friend" with my Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker so that word would POP:)  To add some bling I added Jewels to the centers of all the starbursts.  Now it may look like this card has a lot going on but it is actually very simple to make.  You could use any shape for the background that you have (if you anything like me when you cut one shape you cut extra just to have on hand), so this card is actually part of Sara's Simple Shares.

So, there you have it friends.  I hope you enjoyed!!

Baby Shaker Card

Hi stampers, welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!

Today I am sharing a shaker card that I made using a Baby theme.  A couple of my friends are expecting right now so baby cards have been on my mind.

Shaker Cards are one of my favorite types of cards to make. They are so fun and I love that they are interactive.  And what cuter theme for a shaker card then a baby... shaker... rattle... they all go together right?

The stamp set that I used is he Something for Baby set and the coordinating framelits for the tiny flower and the booties.  To fill my shaker I used Gold and Blushing Bride Sequence.  I just cut them off of the string and put them in there.  They "shake" great:)

To add some texture to the background of my card I used the Decorative Dots embossing folder.  This item is on the retiring list.  If you haven't see that list yet you can view it HERE.

That is the share for today friends.  Don't forget to check out the:

Thankful For You Hexagon Hive

Welcome stampers!! Happy day to you!!!

Today's share is a quick share showing you this card using the Hexagon Hive thinlit.  The base of my card is using the So Saffron and measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Then I used the Blackberry Bliss for my thinlit cutout.  This is a color that is on the retiring list.  It is such a pretty dark purple.  I am sad to see it go:(

I built my flower using the Flower Fair framelits. I cut 2 of the larger flower out in the Pool Party card stock and broke down the fibers so that it would curl up.  I added a center to it and then some of the leaves in the Old Olive.  You can't really tell from the photo but the leaves are covered in Clear Wink of Stella and have a beautiful shine to them.

So there you have it folks, a quick and easy share for you today!! :)

Birthday Giraffe

Hi there everyone.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.

Today's card is a Punch Art card that I made for a co-worker is LOVES giraffes.  I just thought this little guy was sooo cute and would be perfect for her;)

The sentiment that I used comes from the set Sassy Salutations.  It is one of my favorite sets and has been around for quite some time.  Unfortunetly it has found itself on the retiring list this year so will be leaving us soon.  You can still purchase this set though so don't wait, place your order HERE.

This little guy is made up using the Flower Madallion Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch and the Tree Builder Punch.  The leaves in the background come from the Rose Garden Framelit set.  I made my own DSP using the Wild Wasabi card stock and did a tone on tone using an image from the Vintage Leaves set.

I sure do hope that you all enjoyed today's share.  Don't forget to check out the:

Hi there!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's Friday Video.

The other day I posted the Pop Up Z-Fold card.  I thought that I would follow that up with a video for you all:)  I changed it up a bit and created a birthday card this time.  I LOVE the color combination of Green/Pink together!!!!  The Cucumber Crush is a nice bright/vibrant color and goes great with the Melon Mambo (one of my all-time fav colors). I accented it with some DSP from the Brights DSP Paper Pack.  It comes with all the colors in that color collection in a variety of different prints:)  LOVE IT!!!

Let's get some measurements:

*Base 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4"
*Strip is 1" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4"
*Large front panel Whisper White 4" x 2 1/2"
*Front panel DSP 3 3/4" x 2"
*Inside piece of DSP 4" x 5 1/4"

Paper Piecing Rose Garden

Well hello there friends.  Thanks so much for stopping by today and peeking in on today's share:)

Today I am sharing a paper piecing card using the Rose Garden framelit.  This is a birthday card for a very special friend.  I wanted it to be very simple looking (although this card is a bit time consuming) and very elegant:)

I chose to only have one color on this entire card and that is the Red Glimmer Paper.  I love the glimmer paper and all the shine!!!  The outline is of course in the Basic Black.  The card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is a single layer card.

Pop-Up Z Fold

Hey there all!!  So... did we all go through the retiring list and gush over what is going to be retiring soon?  I know that I did.  I have to say that I was a bit shocked at some of the items that were leaving, but after I got to look at the new annual catalog, I am not disappointed one bit, and I know none of you will be either!!!

Today's share is of the Pop-Up Z Fold card.  I chose to go with a Spring/Birthday theme for today's share:)

The base of the card is in the Watermelon Wonder card stock and is accented by Mint Macaron card stock on the front topped with of piece of It's My Party DSP.

I love the Flower Shop set and thought that the flowers would be PERFECT popping up all over to create the scene:)  I added a few butterflies to tie in the Spring feel!!

That is all for today my friends.  Here are some links that you may want to check out before you head out for the day.

Congrats To You!!!

Hi there everyone:)  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'.  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend:)

Today's share is of a Congratulations card that I made.  There are bright and fun colors all through this card.  The base of the card is in Whisper White and measures 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  I then took a piece of Rich Razzleberry which is cut at 5 1/4" x 3 and topped it with a polka-dot piece from the Brights DSP Paper Stack that measures 5" x 2 3/4".  I love the way that yellow's and purples look together.  The balloons are using the same paper stack and are punched out using the Balloon Punch.

And of course to add some "bling" i used a balloon in the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

There is something new that I would like to introduce to you that I am going to be starting on my blog, it is called Dedicated Stamper Coins.  This is a program that I am going to be starting for all of my "dedicated" customers.  This is how it works,

*For every $50 you spend, before s/h and tax, you will receive a "coin".  So, if you spend $100 with me, right there is 2 coins. This is something that I am going to keep track of so there is no worry and hassle for you.  Once you have reached 10 Coins you will receive a free stamp set from me of your choice! Any stamp set that you want, regardless of the price.  Please keep in mind that this does exclude and hostess sets, Sale-A-Bration sets (when available) and bundles.  Once you receive your 10th coin, I will ship your stamp set as well as a Thank You note to you personally! I hope that this shows just how much I appreciate all of my loyal customers.  It's just my way of saying thanks.

I hope you all have a fabulous day!!!

Foam Stamping Background

Hello there my stamping friends!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share and Friday Video:)  I'm so excited to share today's card with you.

Today I am sharing with you how you can stamp using the foam that you can get from the dollar store!!  Ever wish that you had a stamp the shape of your framelit?  Well now you can have that stamp.  Run your framelit through your big shot on top of a piece of foam and voila, instant stamp!!!

Earlier this week I posed two cards where I used this technique (because I am obsessed with it lately).  You can view those posts HERE and HERE.

As I am sure you noticed I didn't put a sentiment on this card... I have been trying lately not to put sentiments on every card that I make... this card would be great for sooo many occasions that I chose to leave it black so that when I was ready for it, for whatever the case may be... I just have to slap a greeting on it and walk out the door:) It's nice to have a few like this laying around.  Don't have to make the whole card in a hurry because you already have a stash waiting to pick from:)

Before you head out don't forget to take a peek at the Weekly Deals that are being offered right now.  This is the last week that Weekly Deals will be available, so don't miss out:)

Well that is it for today all.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Until next time...

33rd Birthday

Well hello there:)  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!

I have a quick share for you today of a birthday card I made for a friend who is turning the big "33".  I used some of my FAVORITE items right now.  The Balloon Celebrations with the coordinating die along with the It's My Party DSP.  If you purchase the Balloon Celebrations stamp set right now in the bundle (so it comes with the coordinating balloon punch) you would save 15%:)

Don't forget that this is the last week for the Weekly Deals.  Beginning April 18th SU! is going to offer "special products" when they have an overstocked item, rather than having the Weekly Deals.  The new list was released yesterday and is pictured below.

Hope you all enjoyed today's quick share:)  Thanks for taking a peek and until next time...
