Move Update

Hi there all. So, i don't have a project share today... well not of a card or anything like that but i thought i would share with you an update on our "moving" project that we are going through right now.  So, this past weekend my mom was nice enough to come over and help me pack some last minute things.  Including, sad to say, my craft room.  I waited until the last minute to pack it all up.  Now it looks so bare and our house is filled with boxes.

Here is a picture of what my craft room looks like now:

Bare and filled with boxes.  It stinks that i had to pack all of my goodies 2 days after receiving a new order:( Not nearly enough time to play with all the new goodies.  But, it is going to be like Christmas when i get to unpack all of the items and i am SUPER excited to decorate and organize my new space.

Here are a few pictures of some of the other rooms of our house. The living room and the dining room... or as we call them now, the storage units, lol:)

As you can see the project is coming along, slowly buy surely however i am about tired of living in the middle of all of these.  Emma however (our 2 year old) is loving it and thinks that climbing all over them is the best things ever.  Me... it's giving me some gray hair, lol:)

Well that is my share for today my friends.  Until next time...

Twisted Gift Card Holder Video

Hi there friends!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'.  Today is Friday Video day and i am super excited!!!!  However, this will more than likely be the last post and video for the next few weeks.  My hubby is finally putting his foot down and making me... yes making me, lol pack up the remainder of my craft room.  Up until this point i have gotten away with just having my desk and main necessities out (which is pretty much the entire room) so that i could still get crafty when i have a free second.  Which honestly is all that it has been lately.  I will go in there, look at something, possibly make a belly band or something and then BOOM, time is up!  I had to get in there though to be able to play with all my new goodies that i received from the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  With that being said i am going to try and take some pics of my Sneak Peek cards tonight and then possibly post them here and there.  What can i say... i always say that i am done posting/creating for now but let's be honest... we all know i can't do it HAHAHAHA!!!:)

With that being said (again, lol) let's move on to today's share.  Today's card is a SUPER SIMPLE card that is called a Twisted Card/Gift Card Holder.  Today i used the Crisp Cantaloupe (in the video) Designer Series Paper Pack and the Pistachio Pudding. I love these colors and am sooo excited they are not retiring!  You could make this card for a gift card or money holder card...

Let's take a look at this weeks video! Roll camera!!!!

Here is the card i showed in the beginning of the video using the Pistachio Pudding.

The item that i am showcasing today is the Starburst Sayings stamp set and coordinating framelits. I love this set... and hope it's in the new Annual Catalog.... (Hmmmm, wish, wish, wish...)

Well that is all for today my friends! Sure hope you enjoyed today's share, until next time...

Pinterest Inspiration

Hi there all! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!! Wanted to share with you today a card that i got the idea from when i was looking at Pinterest.  Of course i changed it up but that's where the inspiration came from.

I love cards that layer.  I normally don't do a ton of layering but when i do, i then remember how awesome it looks!  With this card i used Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, and Basic Black. The way that all the 3 colors look together is amazing.  Really makes the card look elegant.  The DSP that i used is the Eastern Elegance, which is on the retired list and is one that i am really going to miss.  Keep in mind that all of the items that are on the retiring lists are only available while supplies last, so don't wait too long if you want to stock pile your supplies.

To add some more decoration i used the Petite Petals stamp set and the Petite Petals Punch.  Love this bundle.  They are the items that i am showcasing today, they are FABULOUS!!!!

Well that is all for today friends! Thanks for stopping by, until next time...

Welcome Baby Sneak Peek

Hey there all.  Happy day to you!! So today Sunday is Mothers Day (I am posting this late Sunday evening) so first and foremost i just wanted to wish all you mommies out there a very happy day.  I sure know that without my AMAZING Momma, i would be a big pile of nothing.  My mom is my best friend and i a so glad that I got to spend the day with her today.  She doesn't even know half of how much i appreciate her and how truly grateful i am that she is my mom!!!

Now, on to today's share.  SO with everything that has been happening in my life i have been super, super busy but last week on Wednesday i dropped everything because this arrived at my house...

Yup, the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalog! OMGoodness, this catalog is amazing.  I immediately rushed inside and began looking at the catalog and marking down the things that i just could not live without. As you can see by the tabs on my catalog there is A LOT of new items and yes, all of them I NEED!!!!!  With my catalog came the items that, as a Demonstrator, I was able to order through the Demonstrator Pre-Order.  With becoming a SU! Demo there are always great perks that you receive, such as 20% your orders, up and coming exclusive news and my favorite PRE-ORDER'S.  Think that being a SU! Demonstrator is something you might be interested in?  Click HERE to be taken directly to my SU! website to learn about all the great benefits and extra income that SU! can offer.

So, as soon as i got done tagging my entire catalog i began playing with my pre-order items that i received and the first item that i went to is called Something for Baby a great stamp set that also had a coordinating framelit set called Baby's First.  I was soooo excited for this set because one of my closest friends just announced she is expecting (YAY) so i was very in the "baby" mood:)

I wanted this card to be simple but still have charcter, if that makes any sense, lol.  The base of my card is Whisper White, cut at normal size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  I then took a piece of Coastal Cabana and measured 1/4" all the way around inward so that i could cut it and make my simple boarder.  Coastal Cabana is also my largest layering piece cut at 3" x 3 3/4", then Whisper White cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"", a piece of the new DSP (another Sneak Peek for today) of the Lullaby DSP cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" and then another new color from the new 2014-2015 In Color collection call Hello Hello Honey (LOVE IT) measured at 2 1/2"  3 1/4" and then my last layer at of Whisper White cut at 2 1/4" x 3".  Whoa, lots of layers.  Then comes the little onsie that came from the stamp set and framelits.  LOVE IT, OH MY GOODNESS. The entire set is stinkin' adorable!!!!  Now just remember, that i am not allowed to show the new products that i gave you a Sneak Peek of today in the supply list, but they will all be available June 1st!!!

Well, that is all for today my friends, i hope you enjoyed today's sneak peek.  Until next time...
