Get Well
Hello all. Another quick post today. This card was inspired by sweet baby girl who has been under the weather since Monday:( I hate when she isn't feeling well and there is really nothing that i can do to make her feel better. We have been very fortunate though, this is really only her 2nd time being "sick" since she was born.
I wanted to do a layered look so i took a piece of Whisper White and used it as a backer, something that i don't ever do. This piece is cut at 2 1/2" x 4". Then i topped that with a piece of Twitterpated DSP cut at 3 1/2" x 2" and then outlined the Whisper White with "poke dots", that is my super clever name for them:)
For my image piece i backed a piece of Whisper White cut at 2" x 4" with a piece of Pink Pirouette cut at 2 1/4" x 4 1/4".
The set that i chose to use for this was from the SAB brochure, which is still available but only for a short time longer. Click here to see the total brochure and take a glance at the awesome products that you can get for FREE if you spend $50 in product before s/h and tax. I love the set Madison Avenue! I love that even though it is a "flowery" set, you can do so much more with it!! Here is a closer look at the cute set:
Well, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed today's post. Until next time...
