Happy Wednesday stampers!!!! Are you all ready for the holiday tomorrow? I am! A day filled with outdoor games, BBQ's, fireworks and bonfires! I can't wait!!!!
Today's card is a clean and simple birthday card. The base of my card is average size of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". All that i did to my card was i used the awesome Afternoon Picnic DSP and cut strips 3/4" wide. I don't have measurements for the length, i just cut where i thought they looked good :) Then i bannered the one end and placed an Elegant Butterfly punch for some flare! The sentiment is from the set Blooming with Kindness.
For the edges of my card i didn't want it to be so "blunt" white so i free handed some lines on it with my Basic Black Marker. Now some people might use a ruler to make sure that their lines are all straight and even. Not me, lol. I like the look of the "free" lines. I think that it gives it more character. And with me not being able to do anything straight... my lines have a TON of character HAHAHA:)
