Hello stampers. Welcome to Day 3 of Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' 5 Days of Halloween!!!
Today's share is of a project that you can make for a great Halloween home decor piece using only a frame and a sheet of DSP! Who said paper was only for cards?
This piece here is using the...yes you guessed it... Witches Brew DSP pack. I can't tell you enough how much i love this DSP! Today's post i have some step by step instructions on how i created this project! It is really simple and a great way to showcase some of your creations in your home decor!
First what I did was I cut a small strip measuring approximately 3/4" x 12".
I then used my snail and adhered it to the top of my cut out (which for some reason i didn't take a picture of, but this is the top of a whole 12" x 12" piece that comes in the pack).
I then cut out the "Devil's Food Cake" section (this is the bottom left over of the 12" x 12" that the Witches Candy Shoppe, which is the main greeting for our frame) using my Paper Trimmer.
I then took that Devil's Food Cake piece, popped it up on some Dimensionals and layered it atop my main piece in the upper left hand corner.
Then i placed my project in my frame. And that's it folks, i told you it was really quite simple:) Pretty cute huh? In case you haven't seen it... here is a closer look at the Witches Brew DSP pack!
Don't forget, that this week Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' is hosting a Blog Candy.
Here is how it is going to work, this Blog Candy is going to be going on for the next 5 days, the length of my 5 Days of Halloween. All you have to do is leave a comment at the end of MONDAYS POST sharing with me your favorite Halloween costume that you have ever worn. That's it! I will post a special post on Saturday announcing the winner of this Toxic Treat Wood Mount stamp set:
Well friends, until next time...
Happy Inkin'
