Howdy stampers! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and the second day of my Sneak Peek Week - Card #2. Today's share is using the new stamp set White Christmas and Holiday Home. LOVE the Holiday Home set. It also comes with a coordinating framelit set.
My card base measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and then scored at 4 1/4" and i used the Soft Suede card stock. I then took a piece of Whisper White card stock cut at 5 1/4" x 4". With the White Christmas stamp set (that is where the trees came from) i had to extend the "hills" a bit to make them fit the width of the card. The other nice thing with this set is that it is a Photopolymer set, so you can rearrange the stamp to make it a straight plain or a hilly scene. LOVE IT!
I used my Sponge Daubers and daubed on some Soft Sky and then Pear Pizzazz. To add my leaves i took a few of the markers that i thought represented Fall the best which were Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobler, and Pumpkin Pie, and tapped them all over my trees to represent the changing leaves. I also used this technique on my greeting.
The item that i am showcasing today is the the oldie but goodie, the Modern Label Punch. It is a punch that i have had in my collection forever and it never gets old to me.
