Halloween Invite

Well hello there all! Thanks for stopping by my little place on the big ol' Web today!  First off, want to apologize for not posting a video this past Friday.  I have been down and out with a nasty virus and just finally feeling a bit better.  It has spread around my entire family and sadly, my daughter was the last to get it:( I feel so terrible when she is sick so i have been playing doctor today.  She has been given medicine and hopefully SOON she will be feeling back to her normal self.

Anywhoo, back to the project for today.  With Fall coming means Halloween and Halloween parties!!! I love costume parties!!!  I love making all kinds of fun food that represent something "scary" or Halloween themed.  I came up with this cute, simple invite that could be used for your Halloween party.  I try to make invites simple because with invites, you are usually sending out multiples, so you want to make sure that you don't create one that is going to take too long.  Let's face it, you don't want to have to start at Christmas for the upcoming years party, lol:)

The stamp set that i used is In This Together. It's a great friend set and also great for coloring!!  I used the single gal in the set and then added a which hat to her from the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set that is in the Holiday Mini right now!  The In This Together set is what i am showcasing today. LOVE IT!!!!

My card measures normal size of 4 1/4" x 11" then scored at 5 1/2". I used the Top Note die, cut it in half and placed them at the top and bottom.  I thought this gave it a nice look without it being "too much".

So as i said before, my little one hasn't been feeling the best today but she was still all about helping mommy put up our Fall decorations.  Well, she just kind of pointed and nodded with approval/disapproval and i did all the decorating, lol, but we still had a blast.  I thought i would share with you a picture of my porch decorations.  I am so excited that at our new forever home i actually have a front porch.  At our old home we had just a tiny little step... plus our house was so far from the road that no one could see the display anyway if i was to have had a porch:)  I think i may add to it a bit... but this is it as of today:)

Well, that is all for today my friends! Thanks again for stopping by and i hope you do again soon!! Until next time...
Happy Inkin'
