Friendship is a Sheltering Tree
Hello everyone!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share!! This weekend in the mitten state we have gotten a ton of snow. At least 10" so far and they are predicting more!! So, this past weekend we have been hibronated in our house relaxing, playing and of course... crafting:)
Today's share is a card that I made for one of my close friends that is going through a bit of a difficult time right now. Wanting to let her know that she always has a friend if she needs to talk. Just one of those "because" cards. The set that i used is called Sheltering Tree. It's a Photopolymer set and is wonderful!!
I sponged the top half of my card with Marina Mist ink and then the bottom half of my card with Pear Pizzaz ink. I then took the grass from the set and stamped off again with the Pear Pizzaz ink so that it actually looked like... well.... grass, lol:) Then i stamped my main image using Early Espresso ink and then Garden Green ink for my leaves. The little swing that is hanging from the tree is also included in the set. Let's just take a look at the entire set so that you can see all the great things that comes with it:
My card base is cut at average size of 4 1/4" x 11" score at 5 1/2" and is in Daffodil Delight card stock. Before you head out for the day don't forget to check out:
