Reverse Vellum Coloring

Hi everyone. Welcome to my little space on the Net!  Today's share is a card where I used the Reverse Coloring technique on the Vellum Card Stock.  This is a fun technique, especially if you really enjoy coloring like I do.

The image that I used is from the stamp set Rose Wonder that is in the Occasion Catalog right now.  This technique is best to use on a larger image since you have to use a tool such as your stylus to color the image.  So getting into really tiny detail may be a bit tricky.

What you do is take and stamp your image on the front of your Vellum Card Stock.  Then, flip your vellum over and begin to color the image on the backside.  Once you turn it over you have this really nice pretty white image.

My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".  I then did some layering using a piece of Basic Black cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and then my vellum is cut at 3 3/4" x 5".  I chose to only the Mini Silver Brads in two of the corners and then Glue Dots in the remaining two corners since you wouldn't see those anyway.

Here is a closer look at the stamp set that I used today:

This stamp set you can also get in a bundle so that you get the amazing framelit too.  Plus, doing it that way will save you 15%!!!!  Click HERE to see that option.

Well that is it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!! Don't forget to check out:
