Hi friends. I have a very quick card share for you today. A few days ago I saw on the news a story about this little 7 year old girl named Olivia who was battling cancer. Her 8th birthday is coming up and all that she asked for was an Elmo doll and birthday cards from people (she loves to get mail). I wanted to share with you the card that I sent her. Today there is no supply list because to be honest I wasn't planning on sharing it. But, I thought her story was just amazing and wanted to share it with you.
I used a mixture of Stampin' Up! products as well as a few other images that I had in my "stash". I believe that the cake is from the Fifteen Candles set but to be honest the company that makes it is escaping me. This is a set that I have had FOREVER!!!!!
Of course I made the card Elmo themed being that Olivia loves Elmo and then decided to put a fun pop-up element with the cake on the inside. I thought this card would be perfect for our young birthday girl. I wanted to share her story with you too, in case you would like to send Olivia a birthday card of your own.
