Hi there stampers. Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's Friday Video share! The project that I am sharing today is the Self Close Bag/Box. They are sooo cute and are great for thank you gifts, party favors... just tons of things!! Let's just jump right into today's video:
Super cute huh? Here is another peek of the one that I made prior to the video. It uses Cucumber Crush card stock and then the In-Color Envelope DSP.
I am showcasing 3 items today. I wanted to showcase the Bohemian DSP and then the Simply Scored and the Diagonal Plate.
Well that is all for today. Thanks for taking a peek at the Friday Video today, hope you enjoyed. Until next time... Happy Inkin' Sara
Hi there peeps. Welcome to my share today here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'. Today's card is a card that I would call a simple share except for the fussy cut that I did with the wheelbarrow. For those of you that aren't quite sure what fussy cut is, it is where you take a stamped image and then cut it out by hand. I don't do it often but I really wanted that wheelbarrow for this card which is from the You're Sublime stamp set that I showcased yesterday. I told you it was one of my favorites!! My card measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". The card stock that I used for my base is Whisper White but it is the thick/heavy Whisper White. Stampin Up! came out with this with card bases in mind. It is really wonderful!!!! I then used a piece of Crumb Cake and the new Brick Wall embossing folder. I chose to only bring this about half way up my card. Then, I lined the meeting point of the Whisper White and Crumb Cake with flowers punch out using the Pansy Punch and Flower Shop stamp set. The item that I am showcasing today is the Brick Wall embossing folder and the Big Shot. I am really loving this embossing folder too lately!!
Well that is all today friends. Until next time...
Hi stampers. Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's fun share. Today's card is a fun card that I just kind of "went with" when I was making it. It didn't turn out exactly how I pictured it in my head but I still thought that I would share it. I still think it's cute. But that's the thing with paper crafting... sometime when you're in the middle of a project... it just isn't going as planned...so you just go with it and hope that the end product is something that you don't want to pitch into the trash, lol. The base of my card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is using the Marina Mist card stock. I then used an image from the Sea Street stamp set, the little fish, and randomly stamped them all over the base. Give it more of an under the sea affect, lol. I then cut out an Oval using the Oval Framelits on an additional piece of Marina Mist cut the same size. I then stamped an image from the super new super cute stamp set called You're Sublime. That set is soooo cute oh my goodness!!! I wanted it to look like it was under the sea... maybe floating a ways away so I topped it with a piece of Vellum.
Then I added a boarder of Night of Navy ring around the oval for more depth. Then, I did a little bit of punch art and tried to make an octopuss out of a few punches. I think he turned out super cute:)
Haha he cracks me up! I took my Wild Wasabi marker and put dots all over him for a skin kind of look:) The item that I am showcasing today is the You're Sublime stamp set. It is so cute I can barely take it. It has been a go to set since I got my new goodies

Hi all. Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'. Today's share is a Sara's Simple Share. It is a card that is really easy and quick to make. This card is using the Shimmer White paper, the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and the new Expressions Natural Elements. The congrats came in a natural wood color but I used my new Watermelon Wonder marker and colored it to match the rest of the card. That is the item that I am showcasing today.
Thanks for stopping by today friends. Until next time... Happy Inkin' Sara
Hello stampers!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today card share and Friday Video!! I know that I just posted a card like this yesterday, you can view that post here, and said that I was hoping to get a video in soon... well... sooner came sooner than I thought, lol:) I just had to show you how to make this cute card. Let's just jump right into the video shall we?
Now, I know in the video I said I was going to try and show you a picture of the DSP on the card stock to cut it... well I couldn't really find a way to actually take a picture of it because... well... the card stock was upside down, lol. So, let's see if I can explain it in writing. Whichever side your DSP is on is the side that you want to be facing down on your paper trimmer when you start to cut (when the 8 1/2" side is at the top of the trimmer). Then you still do it the same way as in the video. When the 5 1/2" side is on the top of the trimmer, make sure to flip your paper over before cutting, so now your DSP should be facing up. If this just doesn't make any sense at all let me know and I can do another video on that, lol:)
The item that I am going to be showcasing today is the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. New from the Annual Catalog and AMAZING!!!

So, with that being said, are you all loving the new product? My amazing UPS man came today and when I saw that nice wonderful gleaming brown box on my porch I could barley contain myself. I ran right inside and started playing. Today's share is a card that I made using some of the new product. It is also a card fold that has been making it's way around Youtube. I am hoping to have a video on this in the next couple of weeks. I have a couple of videos lined up but this one may sneak its way in there. The card measures average side of 5 1/2" x 11" scored at 4 1/4". The products that I used today are the Tin of Cards stamp set, Everyday Chic DSP, and Metallic Foil Doilies. The item that I am showcasing today is... ALL 3 PRODUCTS, LOL.

Hi everyone!! How are we doing today? I hope your day is going well. Today is a sneak peek of a new stamp set that is going to be in the new annual catalog, it's called Friendly Wishes. It's a GREAT set. Once you see the whole thing you are going to love it!! My card today measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" and is using the Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Make sure you get your hands on this if you are in love with this color, it's on the retirement list and is only available while supplies last. I then used a piece of Cucumber Crush (a new In-Color) and ran it through the Big Shot with the Boho Chic embossing folder (another sneak peek). This color pattern isn't one that I would normally go for but, i had some left over pieces, the small triangles, from using the new Triple Banner Punch and then a piece of Bermuda Bay and Basic Black.... I really like the way it turned out actually. The item that I am showcasing today is the Circle Framelits and the Big Shot:

Hello everyone. Happy Memorial Day. Today is a quick post of a simple card that I made to thank all the men and women who have lost their lives, serving our Country and to all of the families that they have left behind. My family truly thanks you!!! I used the Work of Art stamp set along with the colors Real Red and Night of Navy that I wanted to represent the flag. This is a super simple, I mean really simple but I love that about this card. I love that something as strong as the message of "Thank You" for a day like today didn't need a lot going on. Here is a closer look at the stamp set:
