Anniversary Hearts
Welcome friends and happy Tuesday!!
As i mentioned yesterday my parents celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary yesterday (wow) and i wanted to quickly share with you the card that i made for them.
I used a piece of Whisper White as my base cut at average size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". For the top part of my card, i didn't want it to be "normal" so i used my Edgelits Accents along with my Big Shot and i cut the bottom of the front panel of my card, so that it would have a decoration. I then used the Adoring Accents Embossing folder and embossed the same design above my cut.
I used my Heart Punch and punched out 3 different colors, Whisper White (men's shirt and woman's dress), Basic Black (men's tux), and Cream (woman's skin). With the heart that i wanted to use for her dress i ran it through my Big Shot using my Fancy Fan Embossing Folder to give it some texture. Then, i made a slit in the tux jacket and folded back the edges. I know you can't really see it in the picture, but trust me, it's there!!!:)
I decided that i wanted to pull out some oldie but goodies so i used a retired SU! Punch (I feel so bad that i can't remember what the name of it is) and 2 old stamp sets... Bordering on Romance and Together Forever. I just thought that these sets went so great with my card!!!
Well all, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed my quick post! Until next time...
