Up-Line Challenge #6

Well hello there, welcome!!!

Today's card is my up-line challenge that i participate in every month with other ladies from my "team".  If this is your first time checking things out, let me explain quick what the challenge is.  Every month our up-line sends us a little stash of goodies that we have to incorporate into a project.  Once completed we send our finished project back and then one of us wins and gets the whole sloo of cards that were sent back! Isn't that fun?!?!? I love it! I think it is a great way to possibly use a piece of something that you don't have to see if you like it and to see others work! Plus who doesn't like to get free goodies in the mail?

This month we received a piece of each of the new In-Color Card Stock! These colors are GREAT!! I love using them and lately haven't been able to get enough of them.  For this card i tried to use mainly "new and upcoming" items so this card can also be considered a Sneak Peek!!! YAY!!!

The background of my card is the new In-Color Strawberry Slush (pretty sure this is my favorite new In-Color).  I wanted to create my own DSP so i used the new stamp set, Simply Sketched (it's a hostess item) and stamped my image in Strawberry Slush ink and did a tone-on-tone.  

For my image i used my Strawberry Slush ink and my Primrose Petals ink along with my Blender Pen and did some blending to color in my flowers and get more depth.  I stamped them in the center of my Designer Frame, which i ran through my Big Shot and then cut out and then used my Basic Black Marker to make a black edge and then sponged the edges of the frame itself with Crumb Cake.

I wanted to try and capture so i could show you the inside of my frame.  See how there is a glare on the photo?  Well, i am not just a bad photographer, lol, i wanted to show that i filled my frame in with Crystal Effects to give it a glass look if you will inside the frame.  I love it!!!!
