Surprise Easel

 

 

Hello stampers!!! I hope you all had a nice weekend!!!

 

Today's share is a super cute Christmas card which has a super cool surprise inside!! I originally saw this idea on SplitCoast Stampers and had to try and figure out on how to create it.  This is what I came up with.

 

This card closes like a normal Gate Fold Card.  I did a video on how to make these kinds of cards awhile ago.  To view that click HERE.  What makes this card so fun? .....

 

When you open it up it is also an easel card.  How do you make a Gate Fold card you ask?  Well, you are in luck I did a tutorial on that kind of card as well!!! This easel is using an average size card of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Now, the recipient not only gets to see all the wonderful decorating that you do on the outside but as well as the inside, and they can chose which they want to showcase...  or they can alternate.... so many options!!!  Today I used the stamp set Color Me Christmas which is available right now in the HOLIDAY MINI.  I know I have said it before but I love this set, because I love to color and this set... well that is what it is made for.  The images are larger and don't have tons of little details that you have to color around so this set is awesome if you like to color as well.  Here is a closer look at the entire set:
