Perfect Blend Layered Christmas

Today's share is using one of my favorite sets, Perfect Blend.  I love this set and use it quite a lot!!  I love that you can layer the cup and make it 3D or just leave it flat on your project.  For this project I decided to make the cup 3D by cutting the lid out of a second stamped image and then placing with a Dimensional on top of my main image.

My card based is made using the Pistachio Pudding card stock and it measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and then scored down the center at 4 1/4".  I didn't want my base to be plain, so I used a stamp from the set Gorgeous Grunge and my Baked Brown Sugar ink and made my own backing.  I used two pieces for my layering - a piece of Baked Brown Sugar and then a piece from the In Color DSP Pack (Pistachio Pudding).  I used my Sponges and inked the edges of my DSP with some Baked Brown Sugar ink just to give it some depth.

To finish off my card I placed some Pearls all the way down the side then of course placed my greeting on a piece of Whisper White card stock, flagged the ends and then placed my sentiment from the set Sassy Salutations in the center.  The set that I am showcasing today is going to be the Perfect Blend set... because I love it so!!!
