Scallop Christmas Tree

Hello stampers!! Happy Tuesday!!!

Today's share is of a card that I came up with kind of by accident.  I was going to make a larger scallop tree and wasn't like how it was turning out.  While sitting there contemplating on what i was going to do... a little light bulb came on and told me to try different trees. This is what my finished product looked like.  I actually really liked it.

I decided that I wanted my tree in an Oval, using the Oval Framelits and my Big Shot machine.  I framed my Whisper White frame with a piece of Early Espresso card stock, because I wanted my card to have  nice "nature" feel but still be festive for Christmas.  This way it was a very neutral, non gender holiday card.  My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  I used a piece of Baked Brown Sugar DSP from the In Color DSP pack which measures approximately 1 1/4" x 5 1/2 ( I say approx. because I didn't really measure when I was cutting I just went with how it looked).  I layered a piece of Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon and then added a little bow.

Here is a closer look at the two products that I am showcasing today.  The Big Shot and the Oval Framelits:

Well that is all for today friends.  Until next time...
Happy Inkin'
