Hello stampers! Today is the first Valentines card of the year. LOL, i thought i would give you a break from birthday cards since that is all i have been posting.
Today's card is using the Heart Framelits and the Fresh Prints DSP. This DSP pack is an awesome pack and is great for Valentines Day!!! There are a ton of great prints! To accent may card i used the new Wooden Embellishments that are available right now in the Occasions Mini. You can view that entire catalog by clicking HERE.
I love the look of this card. Although it IS layered it doesn't really have the bulk of a normal layered card. My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11", Scored at 5 1/2". Then each layer is cut 1/4" smaller than the one before. Here is a closer look at the Heart Framelits collection:
Now an update on our weather here. It is still snowing and it is still FREEZING!!!! All schools and most business' were closed today due to the snow and the temperature. My hubby finally decided he better go out and snow blow our driveway and while doing so.. he measured approximately 26". OMGoodness that is a ton of snow!! Here are a few pictures.
Our drive way is about 1200 feet from the road and it took the hubby about 4 1/2 hours to plow the whole driveway because it was soooo deep and soooo heavy. It was so nice though to have a snow day today with my hubby and our Little!!!
