Hi everyone. Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today share!!!
Today we have a quick post showing another Valentines Day card using the cute photopolyer set Countless Sayings 1. Have i mentioned how much i am obsessed with this set as well as the Countless Sayings 2 set. They are awesome!!!!
I recently just received some new chevron ribbon in the Blushing Bride. This ribbon is great. You wouldn't believe how soft it is, i was amazed!! I love wrapping ribbons around cards, it gives it such a nice, elegant, clean look i think. I wanted to share with you how i wrap my ribbon around my card if i only have the base to work with, meaning i don't have any layers on my card.
On the scored part of my card i take my exacto knife and cut a slit into it the width of my ribbon, feed it through (starting from the inside out) and then tie it in the middle. It's as simple as that! It may bother some that you can see the ribbon from the inside of the card but that doesn't bother me so this way works out great!!
To finish my card off i used 2 different sizes of the Heart Framelits and then dipped the smaller of the two in some VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder, heat set it with my Heat Tool and that is what gave it that nice shiny finish. My sentiment is also heat embossed with the Melon Mambo Embossing Powder.
The item that i am showcasing today is the stamp set that i used today, Countless Sayings 1, it's awesome... but i am pretty sure i have already told you that today, lol:
Well that is all for today my friends. I hope you enjoyed and until next time...
Happy Inkin'
