Hi everyone! Welcome to my little place on the Internet, Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share. Today's share is of a card where i got a little "punchy". I have the stamp set called Sweet Stuff. It is this adorable little girl set that has all of these cute sentiments in it and the one that said "bee happy" and then i let the creativity take over from there.
I right off decided that of course i wanted my card to have some type of bumble bee on there however there is no stamp or anything (that i have) that has a bee. So, i made my own using circle punches and the Build A Bird punch.
Aren't these just the cutest? I love how they turned out:) I decided that i wanted to make a "momma" bee and then a "baby" bee. How stinkin' cute!!!!
For my background i used the Hexagon Hive Framelit. I LOVE IT! I cut that out in the Crumb Cake card stock and then placed it on the base of my card which is using the Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Then, just to add a little bit something extra i added my flower which uses the Blossom Punch. Now, the eyes of my bees (aren't they awesome), these unfortunetly a SU! product that is no longer available anymore. I tried to used some punches to make my eyes, but nothing was looking right so, i got these googly eyes out of the archives:)
The product that i am showcasing today is the Sweet Stuff set, since it was the inspiration for the entire card today:
Before you head out, don't forget to check out the Weekly Deals that were released today! The Mosaic Punch is available this week. I love this punch and used it on a card that i shared just a view days ago. You can view that entire post HERE. Until next time friends...
