Birthday Mug

Hi everyone, welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!

Today's share is of yet another punch art card.  I told you lately I have been obsessed with them and I wasn't kidding:)  This card is a Masculine Punch Art showcasing a beer mug!  Isn't it adorable.... or I guess not adorable since it is a "masculine" card.. isn't it "manly", lol:)

The card itself measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and then you would just make your mug the size that you wanted:)  I have a complete list of the items that I used below.

Don't forget, today marks the day that SU! will no longer be ordering stamp sets that are on the retiring list, so if there is a set that you still want, you may want to order it now being that it is only while supplies last.  You still have 2 weeks to place your order of all retiring products.  The greeting that I used on today card is called Sassy Salutations, a set that is sadly on the retiring list:(

Tractor Punch Art

Hello all!! So sorry that I was MIA yesterday, I was busy creating and just didn't get a chance to post:(  Today's card share is of a Tractor Punch Art card that I was asked to make for one of my co-workers grandsons.  She actually has 2 grandsons with almost the same birthday so the second card that I made for her will be shown tomorrow.

I was told that he liked tractors, so with a little inspiration from Pinterest and my own flair I came up with this.  This card took a ton of punches which I love to use punches. Punch Art cards are one of my favorites to make!!!

Now, being that this card takes a lot of supplies, my craft desk was a bit messy...

But it's like that saying with the kitchen that I have heard... the bigger the mess the better the meal... well I like to think the bigger the mess the more creativity:)  That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

And... I'm so excited because today was the first day of Pre-Orders for SU! Demos!!! I can't wait to get all my supplies and be able to show you all some sneak peek's!!  Think that you may like to be a SU! demo as well... have some questions, click HERE to be taken to my page to see what you can earn and how you can sign up!!! I would love to have you on my team!!

Birthday Giraffe

Hi there everyone.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.

Today's card is a Punch Art card that I made for a co-worker is LOVES giraffes.  I just thought this little guy was sooo cute and would be perfect for her;)

The sentiment that I used comes from the set Sassy Salutations.  It is one of my favorite sets and has been around for quite some time.  Unfortunetly it has found itself on the retiring list this year so will be leaving us soon.  You can still purchase this set though so don't wait, place your order HERE.

This little guy is made up using the Flower Madallion Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch and the Tree Builder Punch.  The leaves in the background come from the Rose Garden Framelit set.  I made my own DSP using the Wild Wasabi card stock and did a tone on tone using an image from the Vintage Leaves set.

I sure do hope that you all enjoyed today's share.  Don't forget to check out the:

Faux Pocket Video

Happy Friday stampers!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's Friday Video.

Today's share is of what I am calling the Faux Pocket card.  I posted a card similar to this a couple of weeks ago where it looked like the paper was being ripped away to reveal the greeting, you can view that post HERE, but I wanted to make something flatter, lol... if that makes any sense.

This card I turned into an Easter card since Easter is just a few days away.  It's a simple card if you need a last minute one:)   As you will notice in the video, this isn't my first attempt at this card. I made one prior to the video to get my measurements and things of that nature the way that I wanted them and wasn't really happy with how the card turned out.  So, during the video I changed some things.  Isn't that part of the fun of card-making/crafting... coming up with different ways of doing things... tweeking things just a bit to get it right?

Here is the first one that I made:

It doesn't look a TON different but to me it just looked too plain.  Plus, on this card I popped the bunny's eyes up on dimensionals and I didn't like that either, lol.  So, I changed it:)

Well that is all for today folk's.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.  Don't forget to check out the Sale-A-Bration Catalog before you head out.  There is still time to get your items for FREE!!! Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st, so don't delay:)

Fishy Fishy

Hi stampers, welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!

Today's share is a punch art card where I made some fishy's under the sea:)  I thought that this card would be cute for a birthday card, or a hello card to a little one that you don't live close to... I didn't put a greeting on the front because I didn't want to take away from the scene.  Whenever and to whomever I send it to I will just put it on the inside.

The fish are made out of a few different punches.  I used my 1 3/4" Circle Punch for the "adult" fish and then the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle for the scales.  The baby fish is using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle.  I wanted to make seaweed rather than just stamp something so I found the the "leaf" die in the Rose Garden Framelits.  I think it worked perfect!!

Now don't forget all... Sale-A-Bration is only available until March 31st!! That is a week from tomorrow!!! You still have time to get your hands on the free items that are in the catalog!!  You can check that out HERE.

Well, that is all for today my friends.  Thanks so much for taking a peek today and until next time...

Brushed Easter Egg

Hello stampers!! Happy Monday to you:)  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. This weekend was my "girls day" with 2 of my best friends.  We went and got our hair done (mine was in desperate need!!), got mani's and pedi's and then dinner and a bit of the casino.  I don't gamble much but it was nice to see my friends play and actually win:)  The Sunday Emma and I spent the entire day in my craft room making Easter crafts.  I had to make a couple cards for a gal at work.  I will share what those look like down below.

Today's share is what I am calling Brushed Easter Egg.  I have seen this card around Pinterest and had to make one myself.  It is just very simple and very elegant.  It measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 5 1/2".  It is a Whisper White base with a piece of Whisper White on top of that measuring at 4" x 5 1/4".  I used my Oval Framelits and cut an Oval out of the top piece of Whisper White, traced it onto my base which allowed me to stamp my image where it needed to go.

The set that I used today is Work of Art.  I have been using this set A LOT lately! I just can't seem to get enough of it:)

And as a reminder...

But it's not too late to get your free items.  Sale-A-Bration is going until March 31st.  Click on the image above to see the amazing products that you can still receive for free with your purchase of $50 or more before s/h and tax.

Now here is a quick peek at the Easter cards that I made for my co-worker's grandson's.

Well that is all for today my friends.  Thanks for taking a peek today and until next time...

Fry Box Easter Bunny

Hello there stampers!! Welcome to today's share here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!! I am sooo excited to show you today's project.  I think it is just the cutest thing ever!!! It is an Easter Bunny using the Fry Box Die. Holy cuteness!!!!  This is a great little gift for a schoolmate, a co-worker or a little one Easter morning:)

This uses a variety of different punches and is really simple to piece together.  So it wouldn't be difficult to make a bundle of them if you needed to.  The front of the fry box is actually the back of the fry box (if that makes sense).  I didn't want the backside to be left out so I...

Glued a cotton ball on the back for his cute little fluffy tail!! Oh my goodness.. cuteness overload!!!  The item that I am showcasing today is in fact the Fry Box die.  This is a great larger die to have.  You can use it for so many things!!

A list of all the items that I used on today's project are listed below.  Also, don't forget to check out the:

Clearance Rack

Sale-A-Bration is only until March 31st.  There is still plenty of time to get the awesome items for FREE!!!

Well, until next time my stamper friends...
