Happy day friends!! Welcome to Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin' and today's card share.
So, I have seen this "Herringbone" cards in the past and thought that it was about time that I took a crack at it. I have a co-worker who has a birthday coming up and I instantly thought of this kind of card for her. I love the way that it turned out!!
I chose to use the Birthday Bouquet DSP. With it being double sided, I only had to use 2 strip of each sheet. This is a great technique to get rid of some of the DSP strips that you have laying around;)
The card today measures average size of 4 1/4" 11", scored at 5 1/2" and then my additional piece of Whisper White measures 3 3/4" x 5". I chose a simple sentiment from the Flower Patch set:)
So, on another note... we got another batch of snow over the weekend...
Went to bed and it was nice and Spring like... woke up and it was like Christmas morning... oh wait... except we didn't have snow on Christmas morning... lol. Mother Nature is a little confused. I also heard that this upcoming weekend it is supposed to be in the 70's. Goodness!!
