Halloween Happiness with Bootiful Boot

Hello stampers!!! Welcome!! I am back into crafting action!!! After a few days "off" because of some personal issues that have been going on i have been unable to get into my craft room.  Over this past weekend i went on my annual crafting weekend with my wonderful mama in Cheasning, MI.  We had a great time and it was a great escape from reality, which i for sure needed.  Except I was missing my baby girl and hubby like crazy... but i was able to Skype them oh.... about every 20 minutes, lol.  It doesn't matter how old my baby gets or how long i have been married to my hubby, leaving them is always SO hard on me!! 

Anywhoo, enough with all of that:)  Today's share is a Halloween card that i made using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.  My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 5 1/2".  I added a piece of Basic Black card stock measuring 2" x 5 1/2". I ran it though my Big Shot using my Stripes embossing folder to give it some charter. Then, i backed my image with 2 different colors.  For the back piece (larger color) i chose Pumpkin Pie measuring 3" x 3 1/4", then Elegant Eggplant measuring 2 3/4" X 3".  My Whisper White is measured at 2 1/2" x 2 3/4".  

To add a bit more something i chose to make another "bat" using my Owl Builder punch.  I love making these cute little guys.

Hello all my craftin' friends.  So, i wanted to apologize for noting posting in almost a week now (YIKES). 3x3 Blossom Thank You's

Hello stampers. Happy Hump Day!!

Today's share are the Thank You cards that i made to take to my little scrapbooking/card making weekend that my awesome mom and i go on once (sometimes twice) a year.  It is a great time to just do nothing but wear your comfy clothes all day and get creative.  I can't wait.  Anywhoo, if anyone purchases anything from me i always like to give them a little thank you of some sort.  So this year, i decided that i would just do a 3x3 Thank You card showcasing the new Photopolymer stamp set, Another Thank You! This is my FAVORITE Photopolymer set so far.  You can never have to many "thank you" stamps in my opinion and this one really give you a great variety to choose from.  All from really small sayings to bigger ones!! It' fabulous!!!

Here is a little closer look at the 3 Thank You cards that i am sharing today:

Each card measures 3x3 and has a Blossom punch somewhere on the front of the card.  I didn't want them all to be in the middle so i moved them around a bit.  I then cut a piece of 3x3 DSP of Afternoon Picnic and placed that i on the top/inside of my card (so it would show through the punch).  I like doing the whole 3x3 piece on the inside because then it helps decorate the inside as well.  

The stamp set that i am showcasing today is...you guessed it... the Another Thank You Photopolymer set:

Lovely As A Tree Birthday

Hello stampers!! Happy Tuesday!!!

Today's share is of a Birthday card that i made using one of my all time FAVORITE stamp sets, Lovely As A Tree.  This set has been around with Stampin' Up! for years and that's because it is one of the greatest sets (in my opinion).  This set is soooo versatile you can use it literally for anything.  Girl cards, masculine cards, Christmas cards, Fall cards, Halloween cards, Nature cards and obviously birthday cards.... oh my goodness this list just goes on and on!!!

This card is very basic and very easy. I didn't want there to be too much going on.  I wanted just a nice, simple winter setting to go with my Birthday greeting.  My card measures average size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  I used Night of Navy for my main color so it would give it that nice "night" look.  To create my moon i used the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, punched it out on a piece of scratch paper, and then sponged my Craft Whisper White ink into the circle cut out that i made with my punch.

To get the shadow look on my trees, making it look like there is more trees descending in the background, i used my Basic Black ink pad and then i used my Craft Whisper White ink pad, stamping just slightly lower than i did with my Basic Black. I really like how it turned out!!!

Team Sketch #4

Hi stampers!! Welcome to another Monday and another share here at Mrs. Lincoln's Inkin'!!

Today's share is of the card that i made for the Team Sketch that my upline, France Martin, has for all of her team.  Each month a member of our team comes up with a sketch and the rest of us have to follow it and then we share what we came up with.  It is a great way to keep in touch with our fellow team members and to see all the wonderful creations.

Here is a look at the sketch that we had to go by.  It was created this month by me!!

For my sketch i chose to do a two-toned background using Coastal Cabana as my card base which measures 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and then i added a piece of the In-Color (2013-2015) DSP, Coastal Cabana measured at 4 1/4" x 3". 

My strip is in the Baked Brown Sugar and measures 3/4" x 4 1/4".  For my sentiment i used the stamp set Really Good Greetings and then layered it atop my cut out from the Chalk Talk stamp/framelit.  Here is a look at all 3 products:

Owl Treat Bag Video

Tear - Split Negative

Hello there stampers! Welcome!!!

Quick share today.  Today's share is a card that i made using the Tearing/Split Negative Technique. At least that is what i call it!  I hope to have a video on this technique for you next week!

My card measures average size of 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  I chose Soft Suede for the base of my card today and then accented it with Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise.  I love the way that all the colors came together!!!  

The stamp set that i used today and am highlighting is the Postage Due set.  It is a great larger stamp that works great when doing techniques like this one!  Here is a closer look:

Happy Hump Day Stampers!!!

Today's share is a card that i really got "punchy" with to make this cute vampire!  He wants to suck your blood, lol!!  I actually saw this card on Pinterest awhile back then when i went to go and look at it again last night i couldn't find it, so... i made my own from memory! 

There are a TON of punches that were used to make him today.  This whole card (except for the base) is using some sort of punch or framelit. Yup, you heard me right. Can you guess where i used the Label Framelit Collection?!?!?!?!?!?  Take a closer look.... Yup, if you guess his mouth you are 100% correct. I used my second smallest framelit and traced it (from the inside) so that it would give me a nice looking lower peak for his mouth.  Who said framelits were only for cutting!

Well, being that the Framelit was used in a different way today other than to cut something out, that is the product that i am going to be showcasing today.  Here is a closer look:

Wedding Card

Happy Tuesday all.  Welcome to Mrs. Lincolns Inkin'!!

Today's share is a wedding card that i made for one of my co-workers sons who is getting married later in October!  This share today features lots of great products, however not all Stampin' Up!. But i loved the way that it turned out so of course i wanted to share it with all of you!!

The card base measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and is in the Crumb Cake card stock. I wanted the card to be a bigger than normal and new that i wanted it square.  The DSP that i used as my baking piece, which is cut at 5" x 5" is the Venetian Romance DSP. I love this pack, it is really great!!!

For the cake itself it is made out of 3 different layers, which i first ran through my Big Shot and an old Sizzix Swirly Embossing folder that i had.  The largest layer of my cake is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2", medium layer is 2 1/4" x 1 1/4", and the smallest layer is 2" x 1".  To separate each of my cake layers i took a piece of brown ribbon and placed bows in them for the decoration of the cake.

I have 3 layering pieces behind my cake.  A piece of Very Vanilla cut at 3 1/2" x 5 1/4", a piece of Soft Suede cut at 3 1/4" x 5" and then a piece of the Venetian Romance DSP cut at 3" x 4 3/4".

With this being a larger card than normal i was really excited that i was able to use my Envelope Punch Board to make a custom envelope for today's project.  I did a video on how to use the punch board a few weeks back.  You can view that video Here.  Once i checked my grid on my board i knew that i had to make my envelope at least 5 1/2" x 6".  Such an easy thing to do now with the Envelope Punch Board.  Here is a closer look at the board:
