4 Square Christmas Card

Good morning all, welcome back!!  Today's card is a nice, simple, clean Christmas card.  Using the new (to me) stamp set Happy Hour and my Dazzling Diamonds in the Cherry Cobbler i was able to turn this card into a 3D image.  Accenting each glass with a... holly leaf gave it that little bit of extra piece of festivity don't you think?

The card measures as always at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" with the Real Red squares measuring at 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" and the Whisper White squares at 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".

Can you guess what today's featured product item is going to be?  You are sooo smart, yup it is the fabulous set Happy Hour!!
This set is so much fun! I love how it has so many different uses! Christmas, a party invitation, birthday... summer pool-side card.. oh my the options are endless!!!

Hope you enjoyed!:) Until next time...

Thinking of You

Hello all, happy hump day!!  A quick and easy card today.  You can never have enough "Thinking of You" cards around.  They are a go to when a friend/family member is having a rough time, someone is recovering from an illness or just a way to let someone know that they were on your mind.

Today's card is an average card measuring at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used the Petal Boarder Embossing Folder (i love this folder) and the new In-Color Adornments that i just received in the mail the other day! They are so awesome!!

Today's featured stamp set that i want to share is the Bright Blossoms set. This set can be used with buttons, jewels... pretty much anything you want to accent the flowers like i did above.  This is another one of my new sets but i can already tell that it is going to be one of my many favorites!!

Well i hope you enjoyed today's quick post.  Until next time...

Birthday Wishes Tier

Happy Monday friends and welcome back!  I hope you all had a great weekend!

Today's card is another 3 Tier birthday card. I just love the 3 Tier card which i am sure i have mentioned about a million or more times:)!!  I did a video of this kind of card a month or so again. To see that, click HERE.  The only difference between this card and a normal 3 Tier card that i have done is that on the top layer of the Whisper White i left it blank, i didn't stamp it as part of the layer's and then i decorated it separately.

Today's stamp set that i want to highlight is the Blooming with Kindness Set. What a beautiful set!  The flower in it is just so pretty and unique i think:)

I hope you all enjoyed and i hope that you come back and visit soon!! Until next time....

Hang in There

Hello bloggers, happy Saturday!!! So, one of my absolute favorite animals in the world is a Monkey! I just think that they are sooo awesome and one day i hope to own one (a battle i don't think my hubby will let me win, hehe).

For today's card i used the stamp set Silly Monkey, made by the Paper Studio. It is such a cute set and has lots of images to choose from!  I free handed my tree using Soft Suede Card Stock and then used my sponges and sponged Bashful Blue ink for my sky!   For my tree leaves i used my 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch, brushed the edges with some Wild Wasabi ink and then placed them where i thought they looked good as leaves!

For today's featured stamp.... you guessed it, it is Silly Monkey stamp set by Paper Studio.

Isn't it adorable? I just love it!! Well, i hope you enjoyed today's card.  Until next time...

Gift Card Video

Happy Friday all and welcome back to my blog and my Friday Video!  Today's card is a gift card holder. You can never have enough ways to present someone with a gift card throughout the holidays or any occasion for that matter.
Aren't these just adorable.  Gather a piece of card stock cut at 4 1/4" x 10 3/4" (for your base) and score it at 4 1/4" and 8 3/4". You will need a piece of DSP cut at 4" x 4" and a piece cut at 1 3/4" x 4".  For the tab pieces cut a "backer" piece as i like to call it at 2 5/8" x 2 1/8".

Today's featured product that i am using is the Pennant Parade stamp set with the matching Petite Pennants Builder Punch. I have been using these two products a lot this holiday season. They are just so much fun to use and make so many wonderful decorations for your cards!!

Well i hope you all enjoyed today's card and video! Until next time...

Box Card

Hello all my blogger friends, welcome back:)  I am really excited about today's card because it combines two things that i love to make while paper crafting.  First, a card, isn't this card beautiful? I love the Floral District DSP. I think that it is just so bright and cheery!!  When you look at this card it just looks like a standard card right, which from this way it is measuring at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", but when you open the card up....

It is actually a box on the inside! So this way whomever is getting the card will receive a special little treat when they open it that they weren't expecting! Isn't that neat? I just love little extras like that!

For today's feature product i wanted to highlight on the Floral District DSP, it is just such an amazing pack!!

It is just bright and just plain wonderful!!!!  Well all, i hope you enjoyed today's card/box, hehe.  Until next time...

Masculine Tree

Hello all!  Quick post today on this masculine tree card that i did.  I always seem to steer away from making "masculine" cards and need to get better about that, so that is my goal for the up coming weeks is to make more masculine cards:)

This card is standard size measuring at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  For the colored backing piece, measured at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" i used my Tim Holtz foam applicators and colored a piece of Whisper White card stock to make it the color that i wanted it.  In this case i used the Forest Moss Distress Ink (I love distress inks!!!).  That is also the color that i used to stamp the tree, on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring at 3" x 4".  Isn't that tree amazing? I just love it! It is so full and beautiful.  It is from the set Christmas Lodge, which is the stamp set that i am featuring today, great stamps in this set!!

Don't forget that today is the last day for the Online Extravaganza!! You can get products for up to 50% off!!!!

Shutter Card

Good morning stampers, happy Tuesday!!  Today i wanted to show you a Shutter Card that i made highlighting on 2 products.  The  Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and the Holiday Ornament Framelits!  These products are sooo wonderful.  Using those products i was able to make the 3D ornament that you see on the font of the card.  Above is what the card looks like when it is closed... but when you open it up....

You get this amazing card that is hidden inside. Isn't that awesome?!?!?!? I just love it!!  This card when closed measures around 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", so it fits in a standard size envelope.

First what you need to do to make that card is cut a piece of card stock measuring at 12" x 5 1/2" inches.

Next you are going to have to do some scoring.  On the 12" side you want to score at 2", 4", 8", and 10" and on the 5 1/2" side you want to score at 2 1/2" and 7".

Now take your card stock and place it in your cutter going up and down.  Place it at the 1 1/2" mark and cut from the top score line down to the bottom score line.

To fold your card you need to do an "in and out" fold as i like to call it.  Make sure to reinforce your score lines!!!!

Your card should now look like this

Once you have that done it is time to decorate your card.  The sizes of the DSP that i cut for today's card are below the diagram

And that is how to make the Shutter Card, pretty neat huh?  Looks complicated when you open it but once you get to making it, it actually is quite easy.  Today's products that i wanted to highlight on are the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and the Holiday Ornament Framlits.  You can find them right now in the Holiday Mini HERE

Well i hope you enjoyed today's card and short written tutorial.  Until next time....
